    And that will be the game, surely! Patient play by Scotland. Josh Strauss, off the bench, smashes over the gain-line and gets the visitors on the front foot.

    It's worked right and Finn Russell's grubber kick is pounced on over the whitewash by Graham. Nice stuff. Russell adds the extras.

    You can not do that. That's absolutely shocking. He [the referee] has pretty much let him play the ball for 20 seconds while he was on the ground then potentially force it into a position where it was going to be a try. You blow it up, go to the TMO. That's shocking.

    It's been coming! The substitute batters his way over from close range. We couldn't see whether he touched it down as he was under a pile of bodies. The conversion goes over.

    After butchering an opportunity, play goes back for penalty advantage to Scotland. From the scrum in front of the sticks, the Scots use a set move. Finn Russell takes the ball to the line, pulls it back for Blair Kinghorn who deftly puts Hutchinson over.

    You've got to treat this like it's Ireland at the start of the World Cup. You've got to think if it's Japan, or a quarter-final against South Africa or New Zealand, would you be playing like this in the first five minutes of the second half?

    I think the 31-man squad is picked. For example, if Josh Strauss comes off the bench and has a storming 40 minutes, who cares? It's only Georgia. He didn't do it against France two weeks ago.

    The first 10 minutes after half time are a great opportunity for the guys on the pitch. Going into the World Cup you need to control the first 10 minutes after half-time. Start the second half like you would do against Ireland or Japan.
