On the clear-out Jack Willis has got his leg jammed - no-one likes to see that, especially someone like Dan Lydiate who has been fighting back after a long injury. Straightaway you thought he was in trouble. His left knee - it buckled underneath him.

That, unfortunately, is going to be a long lay-off for Jack Willis.

This looks like a bad injury for Jack Willis.

The Wasps flanker, who has suffered a serious knee injury back in 2018, goes down with a scream.

It looks like something similar. The medics are on.

Mark Burt: England resemble a Rolls Royce running on cooking oil. The engine turns over but the ride isn’t pretty.

Everyone is criticising Italy for not being competitive, but when they take the game to a wounded England the rule book goes out the window in our favour. We want competition... but not too much. Apparently.

That was was an incredible scrum from England to push Italy off the ball. As much as Italy tried they could not repel wave after wave of England picking and going round the corner - they were like sniffer dogs!

Jack Willis scores, and a second later gets a good old fashioned snog off Ellis Genge!

    Over!

Great stuff from the replacements. Jack Willis was on the scene fastest after Dan Robson's break and heburrows between half-backs Stephen Varney and Paolo Garbisi to score from short-range.

    Farrell lands his kick.

Can these two lift England's meandering second-half performance?

Ben Earl, who has looked really good in his recent England cameos, and Jack Willis, a Premiership sensation, are into the back row.

Italy - they really have done so well at the counter attack opportunities, there is an Italian shirt always there to chop someone down at the ankles.

    Interception! And Watson is gone!

The England wing nabs Paolo Garbisi's pass toward Sebastian Negri and scoots upfield and under the sticks.

Paolo Garbisi, just 20, has looked very bright with ball in hand. Quick in thought and deed. Reminds me a bit of Matthieu Jalibert's performance at Twickenham in the Autumn Nations Cup.
