Corey Domachowski didn't need to do that, he just needed to be patient that's a silly penalty for me.

  2. 'Stupid' from Domachowskipublished at 21:46 British Summer Time 10 September 2023

    Wales 32-14 Fiji

    Nicky Robinson
Former Wales and Cardiff fly-half on BBC Radio Cymru

Lack of experience from Corey Domachowski, you can't do that though it's stupid.

Warren Gatland will be so angry, Wales are lucky they have some points to play with, but you don't want to give them half a chance.

  3. Sin-binpublished at 67 mins

    Wales 32-14 Fiji

Just when Wales thought they'd have a man advantage after Lekima Tagitagivalu's earlier infringement, replacement prop Corey Domachowski follows him to the sin bin - 14 against 14 then.

Fiji were fortunate that the maul before wasn't a penalty try with the yellow card for Lekima Tagitagivalu dragging the maul down with no one behind him.

But a point bonus for Wales as well which could be crucial in terms of who tops the group.

Wales have looked organised, they're just playing the right tactics and Wales have been clinical.

Wales what a great set up there, lovely take, nice and tight. The Fijian forwards are getting very tired now, I think the fitness levels of the boys is going to take us through.

  6. converted try

Wales still have that line-out though and make it tell, shunting infield for Elliot Dee to go over for the bonus-point try. Dan Biggar converts and that's the fly-half's last contribution as he's replaced to rousing applause.

That series of drives also saw Fiji flanker Lekima Tagitagivalu sin-binned for stopping the initial maul.

Another huge Wales hit, this one from Tommy Reffell, turns over possession and Dan Biggar thumps a superb 50-22 kick for a line-out deep in Fiji's half. Louis Rees-Zammit takes it quickly and looks like he's over, but no - he didn't take it from the right mark and is called back.

  8. Rowlands 'amazing'published at 21:36 British Summer Time 10 September 2023

    Wales 25-14 Fiji

    Emyr Lewis
Former Wales flanker on BBC Radio Cymru

Brilliant tackle by Will Rowlands on Levani Botia to dislodge the ball.

Rowlands has thrown everything into this game, amazing performance from the second-row.

Several times he's put a tackle in and got the ball back.

That knock-on by Levani Botia is celebrated as if Wales have scored a try.

Talk about weathering a Fiji storm.

    Wales 25-14 Fiji

Fiji look to have finally made the pressure count but, just like in the first half, the ball is lost in the process of touching down. This one is clear though and doesn't need the TMO - Levani Botia spilling it under Will Rowland's tackle.

    Time for more water.

Wicked tackle, we really needed that turnover.

Fiji are being patient but it is hot and it is slippery down there.

Dan Biggar looks close to a yellow as the off-side offences build, but there's no flourish from the ref's pocket. Fiji opt for a scrum under the posts.
