    Emyr Lewis
Former Wales flanker on BBC Radio Cymru

The defence is a mess, Fiji are so strong, so powerful, when they run into the tackle they fly into it.

At this moment Wales can't cope with their power and the support lines are at brilliant angles for when they offload the ball.

It is very uncommon to see a first phase try from a scrum inside your own half but that is the blueprint Fiji want to be playing.

They are a real momentum team the Fijians.

It is important that Wales are able to grab hold of this next two or three minutes and get a positive outcome from it.

And a second Fiji try follows in quick succession as Semi Radradra absolutely shreds the Welsh midfield defence, with Lekima Tagitagivalu on his shoulder like a good flanker to go over for a second converted try.

    Wales 8-7 Fiji

It's breathless stuff and Fiji start to strut their stuff in the backs and stretch Wales. Waisea Nayacalevu takes the captain's role and the centre bashes through an attempted Dan Biggar-Aaron Wainwright tackle to go over the line.

Frank Lomani adds the extras and Fiji trim Wales' advantage to a single point.

Everyone was talking about what would Semi Radrada do but this is what Nick Tompkins can do for Wales.

He takes the ball to the line delays the pass and puts George North through.

Wales recycled it and a superb pass with Liam Williams missing out the man to Josh Adams on the wing.

Dan Biggar's quick kick catches Fiji off-guard and Wales pour forward. A quick offload by Nick Tompkins sends George North punching through the defensive line.

Wales recycle quickly, spin the ball left and it's Josh Adams who jinks his way over for a try in the left corner. Biggar can't add the tricky conversion though.

Fiji regain possession after the restart and go nicely through the phases, earning their first penalty. It's a little out of range for a place kick but they go for the corner and the attacking line-out.

Wales head coach Warren Gatland had hoped water breaks would not be introduced in this World Cup.

France is experiencing searing temperatures and World Rugby has decided to allow intervals during each half to help sides conquer the heat.

But Gatland believes Wales' punishing fitness camps in Turkey and Switzerland will stand his side in good stead.

"No I wouldn't support [water breaks], not particularly," Gatland had said before World Rugby confirmed they would be allowed.

"We would like the ball on the park as often as we could.

"We think we're in pretty good shape physically. In terms of that, we're not going to push back on water breaks if that's what's decided. We won't be arguing with World Rugby on that decision."
