Glasgow are on the front foot straight away in this second half, and make their way into Saints' 22 after some strong carries.
Can they cut the gap?
Glasgow 5-22 Northampton
Tom Jordan gets things back under way at Scotstoun.
Sean Kennedy has been hooked at the break, with young Ben Afshar on at scrum-half for Glasgow.
Javan Sebastian
Early chance for Edinburgh as Chris Dean makes a scurrying break into the Clermont 22m. This si the best territory they've had all game. They've got the advantage...
Phase after phase, and it's shipped to Sebastian who cannonballs over the line from a few inches out. Tim Swiel knocks over the extras.
That's a perfect start and a big old swing of the momentum pendulum.
Clermont 17-3 Edinburgh
Second half back underway at the Stade Marcel-Michelin. Edinburgh need to score nice and early if they're to find a way back into this.

The Glasgow forwards need to step up and if they don't it will be game over. They have been very poor.
That last defensive set has really saved them, if they conceded there then that really would have been game over.

How good has Northampton's handling been?
I can't remember a single knock-on, and they've played high pace rugby for multiple phases.

Northampton come forwards again as the clock ticks down, but Glasgow get over the ball to win a penalty and Luc Ramos blows for half-time.
The Warriors have been battered from pillar to post for 40 minutes, but they will have the wind at their backs in the second half.
Northampton have been superb and fully deserve their lead.
After an encouraging opening 20 minutes, Clermont showed what they are capable of in a short burst. It was fairly even up until then, albeit Edinburgh only got into a scoring position once before quickly giving the ball away.
Then came those two waves of attack that Edinburgh eventually relented to. First, George Moala slipped away from a few challenges before a Harry Paterson mistake allowed Alex Newsome in.
The visitors managed to get points on the board before the break, although the surprise was that they didn't go for the corner to try and narrow the gap further. As it is, they are two converted tries behind.
A lot to do.

Glasgow's one saving grace has been the scrum. Northampton have had three scrum put-ins and they just can't handle the Glasgow pressure.
Glasgow 5-22 Northampton
Glasgow simply couldn't afford to concede again there, and they win a scrum free-kick that allows them to clear.
Scott Cummings returns from the bin, so Glasgow are back to their full contigent.
Tim Swiel
Final break for Edinburgh before the half as Jamie Hodgson spots a gap! Like a giraffe on open prairie, he gallops forward but is eventually hauled down.
Javan Sebastian picks up and trucks on, and a penalty comes Edinburgh's way from 10 yards out. Swiel sticks it over, as Edinburgh take three points before the break.

Fin Smith throws the offload of the night to release George Furbank and take Northampton into Glasgow's 22 again.
The hosts take the ball dead, and so Northampton will have a 5m scrum and the chance to stretch their lead further before the break.

Glasgow for me have just got the tactics all wrong in this first half.
They're trying to play too wide and they haven't earned the right to do that.
Glasgow 5-22 Northampton
It's almost an action replay of that Cancelliere try from earlier!
Northampton throw another poor pass that the Argentine picks off, but this time Alex Mitchell shows impressive pace to haul him down before he can put on the afterburners.
Anthony Belleau
Javan Sebastian is pinged as he steals the ball well after the ruck is called, on his own 5m line. This time, Clermont take the points on offer as Belleau knocks the pill between the sticks.
Glasgow 5-22 Northampton
It feels like a long time ago, but Glasgow did take the lead through Sebastian Cancelliere's try.
Clermont 14-0 Edinburgh
Edinburgh win a penalty from a turnover ruck and kick to touch, but the dart from Ewan Ashman is poor, and Edinburgh give up their chance of a little territory.
It comes back to them in their own half and Folau Fainga'a then wins a penalty at the breakdown.
Clermont are all over the Scottish side.

If you play English teams you need to fight fire with fire and Glasgow just aren't doing that.
Glasgow's forwards just aren't offering themselves up to carry.
