Kevin: Not looking good for Wilson, anyone who has bought tickets for tonight's session might not be getting value for money.

Jimmy: Nobody should be writing Kyren off just yet. Appreciate a massive uphill battle from here but if he can stay at the table he still has a chance.

  5. 'O'Sullivan looking more and more comfortable'published at 14:54 British Summer Time 16 August 2020

    O'Sullivan 13-8 Wilson

    Stephen Hendry
Seven-time world champion on BBC Two

O'Sullivan is looking more and more comfortable out there, more and more confident.

He'll sense that his opponent is starting to miss a couple. When you know that your opponent isn't going to pinch frames off you it makes you so much more comfortable.

Kyren has cued beautifully. It was two mistakes from him with a missed pot and a positional shot.

At this level, those errors which are fundamental are dangerous for your opponent.

The margins are very small. It is not a complete rethink but perhaps he should get on the phone to Stephen (Hendry) for some advice on his positional play.

    O'Sullivan 13-8 Wilson

    Stephen Hendry

That's not the scoreline Kyren wanted from those four frames. It's hard to see a way back for him now. He's had chances and not taken them.

Ronnie looks like he's just getting stronger.

    Well there's my answer.

I was questioning if he would be any good when he faced the first long shot. He couldn't have hit that any better.

On his next visit to the table though he knocks in a glorious long red.

Just what you don't want to see if you are Kyren Wilson. This frame could be out of his reach in a few minutes.

    Frame 21: O'Sullivan 12-8 Wilson

    Stephen Hendry

It was a kind of amateur shot that Kyren played on a black to just give himself a shot on a red next.

    Frame 20: O'Sullivan 11-8 Wilson

What. A. Shot. Kyren Wilson goes through the eye of a needle to drop a red into the middle after Ronnie O'Sullivan's safety had found the pack.

Exceptional. Can he now turn this into a frame-winning chance?

No. A mid-range red wobbles in the jaws. Break over on 29.

    Easy starter for Ronnie O'Sullivan.
