    O'Sullivan 10-7 Wilson

Ronnie O'Sullivan has won four of his six meetings with Kyren Wilson, though he did lose their last match back in February at the Welsh Open.

On that occasion Wilson edged a high-scoring encounter 6-5 but this has been far from nip and tuck.

O'Sullivan raced into an 8-2 lead and then lost four frames on the spin to his younger opponent. And had the balls and a bit more fortune run Wilson's way he could well be ahead.

As it is 10-7 is far from a disaster for him.

  7. O'Sullivan aiming to equal Reardon and Davispublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 16 August 2020

If Ronnie O'Sullivan triumphs on Sunday, he will move level with Ray Reardon and Steve Davis on six world titles.

He'd still be one behind the King of the Crucible, Stephen Hendry.

Though of course Joe Davis (15), Fred Davis (8) and John Pulman (8) had won a fair few long before my lifetime at different venues.

  8. Good afternoonpublished at 13:15 British Summer Time 16 August 2020

Good afternoon. Welcome to our coverage of the World Championship final.

Ronnie O'Sullivan looked like he was on the brink of a collapse on Saturday evening as Kyren Wilson fought back from 8-2 down.

So I'm expecting drama, intrigue and some fabulous shots once we get going.

O'Sullivan, 44, is aiming for his sixth world title and 20th Triple Crown win, while Wilson, 28, is looking to win his first.

In other words, there is plenty of motivation for both players.
