    Ooooh, this could be an important decision. Schiavone snatches a point off Muguruza's service game when the Spaniard's nifty little drop shot falls just outside the lines. The Umpire is out of her chair to inspect it and confirms it was out.

    Now it's Garbine Muguruza's turn to start shouting. The Spaniard lets out a roar as she outdoes her opponent at the net.

    But Francesca Schiavone is back in the zone. She pops a delicate drop shot over to earn two break points. The Italian does a little jig to celebrate.

    Then it's hands-on-hips time as she misses both opportunities to take the game.

    It takes a while, but Muguruza has the advantage and holds after Schivone sends her forehand wide.

    Schiavone thinks she's come out on top of a decent rally but she messes up her overhead smash. Silly mistakes are creeping into her game. That's nine unforced errors now, compared to one from Muguruza.

    But then the Spaniard double faults for 30-30 and hits long - break point to Schiavone!

    And she does break as Muguruza sends a backhand just over the chalk.

    This just contest got very interesting...

    Classy stuff from Bedene, who looks so at home on the clay, moving beautifully and sending Harrison scurrying all over the court. The American's fitness will be well and truly tested if he's gettng out of this one.
