Nadal 6-3 1-3 Norrie*
Not judging by the start to the next game.

I love it! I love the reaction from Norrie, a huge fist-pump. Fantastic intensity and he has taken the ball so early to hit that backhand down the line. When he takes the ball on the rise like that you don't have any time to get back into position.
Nadal 6-3 1-3 Norrie
Now then.
Cameron Norrie has just buried, I mean buried, a stunning backhand winner into the corner of Court Suzanne Lenglen.
Two successive breaks - now can he hold?
*Nadal 6-3 1-2 Norrie
A brilliant, brilliant backhand return down the line from Cameron Norrie brings up a break point...
*Nadal 6-3 1-2 Norrie
Cam Norrie put everything into a return there. Nadal unable to get it back. 15-30.
But the next serve is too good. 30-30.
The Brit is certainly making more inroads on the Nadal serve in the second set than he was in the first.

We can hear Cam's frustration. He worked so hard to get the break and let that slip away. All that intensity is tough to keep it up, it happens when you finally break serve and then relax too much.
Nadal 6-3 1-2 Norrie
During the break between games, Cameron Norrie is talking to the umpire.
He's got to be asking about those little delays Rafa Nadal has been making to Norrie's serving points.
Nadal 6-3 1-2 Norrie
But Norrie can't hold.
Rafa Nadal breaks back immediately.
There was another point in that game where the Spaniard said he was not ready after Norrie served. One to keep an eye on.
Norrie is trying to hurry things up but Rafa does not like to be ruffled.

Cam Norrie willed that break point into existence. He's been jumping around at the back of the court and looks so pumped up since coming out for the second set. I think it is frustrating for Nadal to play someone who is not giving him anything. There has been a lack of errors from Cam.
Nadal 6-3 0-2 Norrie*
It's only a break if you hold your own serve, though.
And Cam Norrie goes too deep twice to trail 15-30.
Laura Robson
Former British number one on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra
I love Cam Norrie's attitude at the beginning of this second set. He is showing competitiveness even though he would have to win in four or five sets now.
Nadal 6-3 0-2 Norrie
Sensational.
Norrie keeps Nadal deep in the court and Rafa finds the net.
A break and an early second-set lead for the British number two.
*Nadal 6-3 0-1 Norrie
Rafa Nadal has been very unlike himself this past minute or two.
Another long forehand from the Spaniard...
*Nadal 6-3 0-1 Norrie
But Nadal closes the door with a cracking first serve out wide that Norrie cannot return in court. Deuce.
*Nadal 6-3 0-1 Norrie
Nadal balloons a forehand long. 30-40.
Big chance for the Brit...
*Nadal 6-3 0-1 Norrie
Fine margins. Rafa Nadal's accuracy is unbelievable. He finds the edge of the rim of the corner of the court to win a fantastic rally.
But he misses in the next rally. 15-30. A glimmer for Norrie?
Ah, he dumps a return into the net for 30-30.
*Nadal 6-3 0-1 Norrie
That's possibly the best point Cameron Norrie has played on Rafa Nadal's serve.
He punishes a short ball with a lovely cross-court backhand near the net.
Laura Robson

Rafa looks unstoppable at this event. Other than 2016 when he was injured, he has been so consistent. There are not many losses and he is unbelievably good on the clay-courts in Paris.
Norrie seems like he can't get into the Nadal service games since very early on, I'd change up the tactics slightly.
He needs to stop going for the cross-court forehand, which usually gives him more time to recover an get back into the point. It's not having the same effect today.
Nadal 6-3 0-1 Norrie
Cam Norrie loses the first point of the second set but two fine serves - one on ace - put him back on top.
He's very much holding his own in rallies on serve - and a frustrated Nadal fires one into the net.
Rafa puts the next point and that's a good hold from the Brit.
Argentina's Diego Schwartzman can put his feet up for the rest of the day after recording a straightforward 6-4 6-2 6-1 win over Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber.
While there was little drama there, there was plenty on Court 7 where Lorenzo Musetti won a five-set thriller 3-6 6-4 6-3 3-6 6-3 against fellow unseeded Italian Marco Cecchinato.
Musetti played a couple of racquet-behind-the-back winners that have to be seen to be believed - do yourself a favour and seek them out online. Roger Federer, eat your heart out.
