This feels like a crucial moment in the match but it has suddenly gone rather dark above and I hate to say it but, I think I may have felt a couple of spots of the R word...

  2. Break points Andreescupublished at 19:22 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    *Jabeur 3-6 6-3 1-2 Andreescu

Incredible display of athleticism, who slides across to make a backhand before instantly springing back up.

Unfortunately, she's left it on a plate for Andreescu to smash the ball down and well out of reach.

The Canadian has some momentum here! Three break points.

  3. Andreescu holds servepublished at 19:20 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    *Jabeur 3-6 6-3 1-2 Andreescu

Andreescu closes in to the net to reduce Jabeur's options, the Tunisian failing to execute the pass and conceding the game.

A fan in the crowd puts her hands on her head. It's getting tense.

    Jabeur 3-6 6-3 1-1 Andreescu*

It's a great contest this, with very little between the two players right now.

After a hesitant start, by her standards at least, Jabeur is beginning to rack up the winners on Centre Court. Another hold. On we go...

  5. 'Jabeur striking forehand better'published at 19:13 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    *Jabeur 3-6 6-3 0-1 Andreescu

    Tracy Austin
Two-time Grand Slam champion on BBC TV

A few more mistakes and a little lapse of concentration from Andreescu and Jabeur striking the ball better, particularly off the forehand wing.

  6. Andreescu holds servepublished at 19:13 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    *Jabeur 3-6 6-3 0-1 Andreescu

Bianca Andreescu will serve first in set three. Will that prove a psychological advantage?

It could if she can keep herself in front for long enough.

    That's a good start.

  7. Servers on top on Court Onepublished at 19:13 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Zverev 3-6 3-2 Berrettini*

Five games into the second set on Court One and only point has gone against serve.

Four holds to love, including all three of Alexander Zverev's service games as he looks to put the loss of that opening set behind him.

    Jabeur 3-6 6-3 Andreescu

    Jess Anderson
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

When Ons Jabeur headed the ball towards the ball-kid after Andreescu's serve was called out, it prompted cheers from the crowd with the sixth seed known for tricks on court.

There have been cries of 'Come on Ons!' throughout the match but this time it's a cry of 'Come on David Beckham!'

The Tunisian met her football hero earlier this week and was thrilled to have given him a hug and had a quick chat.

  9. 'One or two clouds in the world of Andreescu'published at 19:09 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Jabeur 3-6 6-3 Andreescu*

    Nick Mullins
    BBC Sport commentator at Wimbledon

Now, all of a sudden, one or two clouds in the world of Bianca Andreescu.

  10. Game and second set - Jabeurpublished at 19:09 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Jabeur 3-6 6-3 Andreescu

We're going to a decider on Centre Court!

We knew Ons Jabeur would not go quietly, despite Bianca Andreescu maintaining such an impressive level, and the Tunisian rallies to take the second set.

With every passing game, that look from Jabeur which persuaded her opponent - and friend - not to challenge a call earlier in the set, which would have shown her shot was in fact good, is looking like an even bigger talking point.

  11. Andreescu holds servepublished at 19:05 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    *Jabeur 3-6 5-3 Andreescu

Ha. Ons Jabeur decides to head the ball back to a ball kid after Bianca Andreescu misses a first serve.

Applause and laughter follows from the crowd. It's the little things.

After a third deuce, Andreescu serves her way to safety to make Jabeur serve for the set.

  12. Postpublished at 19:01 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Jabeur 3-6 5-2 Andreescu*

Andreescu looks set to fire back with a straightforward hold, but she frames a forehand into the sky to offer Jabeur an opening at 40-30.

Another forehand finds the net. Deuce.

  13. 'Catalogue of errors'published at 18:58 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Zverev 3-6 Berrettini

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV

I'm sitting here watching just not quite knowing what's going to happen next. It's been a catalogue of errors in the last couple of games. Not what we'd expect from these two quality grass court players.

  14. 'Momentum has swung'published at 18:58 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Jabeur 3-6 5-2 Andreescu*

    Nick Mullins
    BBC Sport commentator at Wimbledon

Ever since that mix up on whether the ball was in or out, momentum has swung.

  15. Jabeur holds servepublished at 18:58 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Jabeur 3-6 5-2 Andreescu*

Maybe that advice from Jabeur for Andreescu not to challenge that call at 40-40 in the Tunisian's first service game could prove friendship-ending after all.

Since that moment, the match has swung fiercely in Jabeur's favour.

The Tunisian holds to love with a backhand winner to move a game away from taking us to a decider on Centre Court.

  16. Game and first set - Berrettinipublished at 18:58 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Zverev 3-6 Berrettini

Two wild mishits from Matteo Berrettini but those lost points are cancelled out by three big, unreturnable serves and a winning forehand as he comes from 0-15 and 15-30 down to hold serve and take the opening set against 19th seed Alexander Zverev.

  17. Postpublished at 18:55 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Jabeur 3-6 4-2 Andreescu*

    Jess Anderson
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Jabeur has absolutely turned over both of her previous two opponents but this has been her real test and so far it's been tough.

Huge moment in the match as she breaks Andreescu for the first time. It was a big roar from Jabeur as she secured that and that should give her some momentum.

  18. Berrettini breakspublished at 18:55 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    Zverev 3-5 Berrettini*

What a gift for Matteo Berrettini.

He didn't have to hit a winner to break serve - four pretty much unforced errors from Alexander Zverev mean the 2021 runner-up will serve for the opening set.

  19. 'Jabeur must question if Andreescu can maintain this level'published at 18:55 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    *Jabeur 3-6 4-2 Andreescu

    Tracy Austin
Two-time Grand Slam champion on BBC TV

Jabeur has to stay positive and keep mixing it up, and question whether Andreescu can stay at this level. She hasn't played at this level in a while.

  20. Jabeur breakspublished at 18:55 British Summer Time 8 July 2023

    *Jabeur 3-6 4-2 Andreescu

Ons Jabeur has arrived on Centre Court!

The sixth seed gets her first opportunity, and a long forehand sees Andreescu, who has been so settled on serve so far, concede the break.
