BBC Sport in PyeongchangThe Russian (Olympic Athletes from Russia) fans are at their colourful Best again today.
It’s notable that the majority of supporters from the nation - who’s Olympic Committee is currently suspended by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) - are very obviously decorated in their national colours.
The competitors are banned from doing so and can’t collect flags from fans after racing, but the supporters - the majority of whom are incredible friendly - are doing a great job of cheering and singing for their athletes.
And they’re happy at the moment as their man - Sergey Ridzik - is into the semi-finals!

Tony Lee Bruce: This is brutal. Ski cross is the most exciting and dangerous Winter Olympics sport - I can't get enough of it.

Genuine conversation in our office...
Me: "Did they get through those quarter-finals unscathed?"
Social media guru Becky: "Well they're just picking someone out of the netting, so I'm going to say no."
Ski cross. Never far from a crash.

Let's address the elephant in the room here. What are the Americans wearing? Blue sneaks, grey trousers, sky blue T-shirts and red baseball caps. They look like a baseball team has thrown up on them. They take two stones from the first end.
My eyes hurt.

Team GB curler Anna Sloan speaking on BBC One: "Yes I was struggling - kudos to the girls as they stuck with me and they were patient. That was the story of the game really. We finished the game strong, we were patient, we stayed in the game and we came through in the end."

Team GB skip Eve Muirhead speaking on BBC One: "We're delighted. We knew it was going to be a really tough game against Canada but our goal was to book our spot in the semi-finals and we're delighted with that.
"I think coming into the competition we knew the field was strong with 10 teams capable of getting a medal. Each game we have concentrated on ourselves, Canada are one of the top nations but as a team we just concentrated on our own performance.
"Now we look forward to our day off tomorrow before getting back on the ice."

The curlers are on the rink. Cameron Smith, brother of skip Kyle, has delivered the first stone in this match.
If you missed it earlier, Eve Muirhead's women came from behind to defeat Canada and reach the semis. You can watch what happened right here...

Christopeher Delbosco has been taken from the course and the quarter-finals have begun. Delbosco's Canadian team-mate reached the semis, ahead of Switzerland's Marc Bishofberger.
I've got to the stage where I'm just pleased everyone completes the course with getting hurt.

In the meantime, can we focus on something a little less dangerous?
Great Britain's men's curlers will look to follow the example of the women and secure their place in the semi-finals.
If Kyle Smith's team beat the USA, the last-four spot will be sewn up.

If you can bare to watch, the next round of the ski cross begins in about 15 minutes.
Never mind air bags, we need to put these guys in bubblewrap.

The stretcher it on the course. Delbosco will be the third man in eight races to be carried from the course.
There are still seven more races before we crown a champion.
It might be whoever is left standing.

Remember, these guys have airbags built into their kit. I think Delbosco's inflated.
He still hasn't moved.
Looking again, he managed to turn in the air and take the impact on his hip, rather than his back.
Not that it makes it any better.

This is getting worse. Canada's Christopher's Delbosco has just suffered one of the worst falls I have even seen in any sport, anywhere.
He looked to have made a mistake in one of the jumps and went so, so high. It was an awful landing, pretty much on his back.
It will be remarkable if he has escaped a serious injury.

BBC Sport in PyeongchangTeam GB Olympic skeleton bronze medallist Dom Parsons is over at the Bokwang Phoenix Park to check out a little ski cross action this morning.
“I’ve had so many days at the sliding track I need a bit of a break,” he jokes - before stressing he’ll be back to support GB bobsleigh duo Mica McNeill and Mica Moore in their final two runs tonight.
“I wanted to see a bit more of the Winter Olympics and this is such a great watch because anything can happen!”
For the record - he asked me for a selfie. Dom’s quite a character and has a habit of surprising a journalist in post race interviews by asking them the first question!

Christoph Wharstoetter has been taken away on what can only be described as a skidoo ambulance. He's on a stretcher, in a sitting position, being towed away as the siren blares.
I'll say it again. This is a brutal sport.

More horrific drama. Austrian Christoph Wharstoetter was leading the sixth heat but got a tap from behind and has taken a huge slide into a barrier. Sweden's Erik Mobaerg, who was also involved, has finished the course, but has little airbags inflated all over his body.
Imagine a sport where your kit involves airbags...

The brutality of this sport is compounded by what happens at the end of each race.
After they cross the finish line, all four competitors wait in front of the camera while the race is replayed and the result confirmed.
If you're out of the bottom two, you're still there, being watched by the lens. You then ski off into oblivion.
