    Men's 5,000m relay

China had never won Olympic gold in men’s short track before this Games but made the relays their number one target in Pyeongchang. Their team includes Wu Dajing, who won the 500m earlier on.

He says: “The team event gold is our most wanted as it represents the collective strength of our country in this sport. To win it over the hosts in their house would be really satisfying.”

  20. 'Schulting can't believe it'published at 11:38 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2018

    Women's 1000m

    Sarah Lindsay
Three-time Olympic short track speed skater on BBC TV

We weren't expecting that from Suzanne Schulting actually. But it shows how important it is to get high up in the rankings at the beginning of the race, that way you escape all the bumps and crashes at the back. It's been a great few days for the Dutch girls - she really can't believe it. She was brave, she took the race on early, and it's so nice to see someone so, so pleased.
