Surely that is gold medal number three for the machine that is Simone Biles. It is the power that she can generate from the springboard. Look at the distance she gets from the table on the spring. That is phenomenal.

Simone Biles was smiling before she had even landed her first jump. She knew she was going to nail it.

The second one wasn't half bad either. Talk about delivering under pressure!

You guessed it....straight into first place.

Simone Biles will want to create as much of a buffer as she can in that gold medal zone.

That is one of the most difficult vaults any woman has even done in the history of gymnastics. Biles is quite incredible.

How does she do it? Simone Biles takes off and is straight as an arrow as she twist high in the sky and then her feet plant firmly onto the mat. Amazing.

O Canada. Shallon Olsen is up next after a slight over-rotation on her first vault, manages to stick the landing. The second attempt doesn't quite go to plan and the 24-year-old ends up on her knees. The replay shows her left hand just slips off the vault before launching into the air.
