    Morocco have been at home really throughout this whole tournament. They were the best team, better than France, Spain and Egypt.

    Everywhere they've been, such as Marseille and Saint-Etienne, red shirts are there because of the huge Moroccan community we have here, whether that is second or first generation.

    It's been massive for them.

    360 miles away from Paris, in Emma Finucane’s hometown of Carmarthen, members of her old cycling club have gathered to watch her go for gold in the keirin.

    Towy Riders was where it all started for Emma. What an inspiration for those younger riders watching her tonight.

    It's all over, it's bronze medal for Morocco and only the second time at these games that Morocco have made it to a podium. The game ended 6-0 against Egypt.

    The last goal was scored by the star of the team Achraf Hakimi who plays for PSG.

    Such a huge Moroccan population live in France and these celebrations are huge.

    Both Emma Finucane and Katy Marchant go in the final of the women's keirin. They are up against Emma Hinze of Germany, Daniela Gaxiola Gonzalez of Mexico, Hetty van de Wouw of the Netherlands and Ellesse Andrews of New Zealand.

    Finucane and Marchant both helped GB win gold in the team sprint event earlier in the Games.

    • Team GB's Katarina Johnson-Thompson started her heptathlon campaign and is narrowly ahead after the 100m hurdles and high jump.
    • The Netherlands' Sharon van Rouwendaal dedicated her gold in the women's 10km marathon swim to her late pet dog.
    • GB's women win their heat in first round of 4x100m relay, while the British men come third to progress.
    • Jade Jones' bid for Olympic history ended after another early defeat for the Briton in the taekwondo -57kg first round. She also lost in the repechage round.
    • Also in the taekwondo, Bradly Sinden missed out on the chance of gold in 68kg, but will fight for bronze at 19:19.
    • Britain's John Gimson and Anna Burnet's hopes of claiming a medal in the mixed multihull ended when they were disqualified in the final race.
    • There was also disappointment for Jack Laugher and Chris Houlden who finished outside the medal places in the men's 3m springboard diving final.
    • GB's Grace Reid and Yasmin Harper progressed to the 3m springboard final.
