Summary

Lleucu George uses that big boot of hers to get Wales upfield with a 50-22.

Right then... can Wales build something from here?

The main feeling in the Wales camp will be frustration.

When Wales had so much possession and territory in the first half they needed to capitalise on it more.

We're into the final 10 minutes of the game here in Parma and of the Six Nations.

Can Wales find something positive to finish with and take into their summer preparations for the World Cup?

But it looks as though they are heading for their first clean sweep of defeats in the championship.

Everything is going Italy's way, from the bounce of the ball to the decisions.

Credit to them though, they have been a completely different team to the first half.

You feel for the Wales players. Italy are playing with so much confidence, running at pace.

The message to Wales has to be to keep the ball in hand and build a few phases.

Try: Italy 32-12 Walespublished at 64 mins

    Vittoria Minuzzi

The full-back speeds through and that's the try bonus point.

She deserved the try because the attack was all started by her sensational 50-22 kick upfield that caught the Welsh back three out of position.

Italy's forwards carried to draw in the defence and then Minuzzi picks her angle to slice through.

They have shown a true all-round game today.

Sean Lynn has seen enough, it's been all Italy after the break.

What can the Welsh bench do?

It's been all Italy in this last 10 to 15 minutes.

They have cut out the handling errors, and it has been composed and clinical.

Their forwards have been dominant this afternoon.

There is still plenty of time, as long as Wales have the belief there is still a way back into this game.

Converted try: Italy 27-12 Walespublished at 58 mins

Silvia Turani try, Michela Sillari con

Too strong, too fast, too good.

A training ground move from a tap-penalty in front of the Welsh posts sends Harlequins lock Sara Tounesi speeding to the line.

Prop Turani somehow stretches out from a pile of bodies to touch down.

    Italy are pulling away.

    Italy 20-12 Wales

Italy are back upfield and hammering away for a third try that could settle this.

Wales are hanging on by their fingernails.

  13. Replacementpublished at 56 mins

    Italy 20-12 Wales

There was a really nasty clash of heads earlier between Georgia Evans and Kelsey Jones.

Jones is off for a head injury assessment while Evans has a bandage around her head.

With her jet black hair, she looks like a pint of Guinness.

    The sponsors will be happy!

    Elinor Snowsill

It was just a misread in defence by the Welsh backs.

One pass cut out three players and Francesca Granzotto has done really well to ride the tackles and get over.

Francesca Granzotto try, Michela Sillari con

It went to a review but it's given.

The replacement wing finishes a wonderful flowing attack.

The forwards carried hard and then it's just the speed of ball across the line that beats the Welsh defence despite a solid cover tackle by Wales' Hannah Bluck.

And Sillari converts from the touchline. That was a belting seven points all round.

  16. Postpublished at 52 mins

    Italy 13-12 Wales

A great steal by Abbie Fleming who somehow emerges from that lineout maul with the ball.

It eases the pressure but Lleucu George's kick is not great and it's only a temporary breather.

  17. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Italy 13-12 Wales

Italy put another kick over the top and it's a horrible ball for Lisa Neuman to try and deal with.

She's bundled into touch and Italy have an attacking lineout five metres out.

Italy's off-loading game is wonderful to watch but we've just seen one player palm away a pass as though playing volleyball and then Sillari puts the ball between her legs.

    Thrilling stuff.
