Ollie Lawrence busts his way through and flicks the ball brilliantly to Marcus Smith, the full-back does well to bide his time, stepping in and out, as England go in search of a second try.
The try is blown as Lawrence tries another miracle offload that goes out of play.

England have been struggling to get their exit structure and then build. What is their set play? They scored a try but it was very pragmatic. We want to see Ollie Lawrence and Henry Slade.

Twickenham is so quiet. So many people, so little noise. England have been awful in fairness. Kicking everything, creating nothing. Offering absolutely zero. Scotland should be further ahead. They could do with more points to reflect their dominance
Duhan van der Merwe loves this fixture! Off he goes on another bulldozing run to get Scotland on the front foot. He only needs half an inch and he is off.
England do well to get back and eventually win the ball back. Ben Curry gets over the ball brilliantly, talk about impact.

Again Steve Borthwick's incompetence as a tactician is costing England. Alex Mitchell has clearly been told to box kick everything, but Scotland's backs are much better in the air! Borthwick has to be blamed for this ridiculous game plan.
A couple of reset scrums helps to take the sting out of Scotland's fast start. Tom Willis explodes off the base before another Alex Mitchell kick is won back by England.

England are like rabbits in the headlights when Scotland cut loose. They've been done time and time again by the pace, accuracy and skillset of Scotland's attack in the previous four Calcutta Cups and they're still getting done by it again now. Huw Jones joins Duhan van der Merwe on six tries against Scotland. Lethal!
