It's fair to say Kyren Wilson had a fair bit of run yesterday evening.

And the snooker gods are smiling on him again - misses an easy red but it cannons off another and goes in the opposite corner.

Dave Gilbert looks very unimpressed - but, a couple of shots later, Wilson misses a black off its spot. Real chance for the Tamworth potter now.

You can't afford to let Kyren have his hand on the table for a mid-distance red. And there's a real sign of confidence and statement of intent.

He knew he would leave a red on but his only intention was to pot the red and stun for the pink.

A second good long red from Kyren Wilson in this opening frame of the final session of this semi-final.

And this time he is on a colour - and this is a big chance in among the balls to move five frames clear.

The 'Angry Farmer' can't make much of that chance, though, compiling just the 15 points and not really having control of the cue ball. Early nerves, perhaps.
