Safety exchange ongoing.
You get the feeling Stuart Bingham is itching to take something on - but he knows his next mistake could be his last...
He pushes the boat out with a long red and misses it. A testing first red for Jak Jones, however. It's in... another chance.

General Laughter: Why don’t they use top/bottom/left/right or north/south/east/west when putting balls back? It’s always 'a bit over that way' or 'back this way'.
Bingham 12-16 Jones
Jak Jones is unfortunate that a cannon on a red and black fails to work out in potting the pink so his first chance at clinching the match - and it was a very tough chance - ends with just eight points scored.

Dennis Taylor
1985 world champion on BBC Two
Once again he's created this chance for himself with some terrific tactical play.
Bingham 12-16 Jones
Jak Jones has a four-frame cushion and you suspect he's going to play the patience game, waiting for a Bingham error.
And here it is, a safety mistake that leaves the Welshman an easy red to start.

Ally Beckett: Snooker World Championship always makes my average bed time for the year later by about an hour.
We have to wonder if Ally keeps an average bed time score like players have average shot times.

Cagey start to frame 29. A red potted apiece but Stuart Bingham is tucked up behind the brown in a snooker.
He escapes it cleverly but is soon in another, behind the yellow this time.

He's got to be believing now.
What he's doing incredibly well for me is he's not making any glaring errors, he's not missing any really easy balls.
We've seen Stuart Bingham missing black off the spot, Jak isn't doing that. By and large he's not making any silly mistakes - and when he has a big shot to play, like that cannon in the last frame to open the last two reds, he plays it. He's so solid.

Six-time world champion on BBC Two
Jak looks the more clinical player - he's one of the most accurate and clinical players this tournament and he's on the brink of what is an incredible journey.
I don't think anybody really thought Jak Jones could win the World Championship, even seeing his progress. But, slowly, you've got to say you've got to be a believer.
Because he's winning matches and winning them with style and control - and control is something a lot of other players have lost here during these two weeks.
Bingham 12-16 Jones
Jak Jones, the world number 44, is one frame away from the World Snooker Championship final in only his second year in the tournament.
Stuart Bingham goes in-off and concedes.
Pinch-yourself stuff for Welshman Jones.
Bingham 12-15 Jones
Jak Jones misses a double on the last red but his 70 break leaves Stuart Bingham needing three snookers.

He's taking these very well.
Bingham 12-15 Jones
Having said that, Jones almost misses a routine blue off the spot - but it just creeps into the middle pocket off the knuckle.
He takes full advantage, playing a brilliant and brave cannon off the next black into two reds.
Bingham 12-15 Jones
There's been no Bad Habits from Jak Jones in this frame.
Going along very nicely on a break of 44 is the Welshman.
Martin Cleary: There definitely won't be any Ed Sheeran night on BBC Two - sorry for those interested.
There might be time later. Still, Ed had plenty to celebrate today as his beloved Ipswich Town were promoted to the Premier League.
Bingham 12-15 Jones
He can't, though, Ken, not on this occasion.
It was a tough black near the cushion in fairness - but Stuart Bingham chose to play it with power to get better position on the next red and the break ends on 23.
Worse than that for the world number 29 is that he's left Jak Jones in.

The only way he's going to put pressure on his opponent is scoring from situations like this. He hasn't been scoring, making frame-winning breaks.
He needs to start scoring to make inroads, that's what he's best at.
Bingham 12-15 Jones
Good start from Stuart Bingham, who floats in a nice long red to get the scoreboard rolling again.
Decent chance to make a few.

The players are back out in the Crucible arena for the final mini-session of this epic semi-final.
Presenter Catrin Heledd just labelled it a marathon - who has the legs left in them for a sprint finish?
We could have six more frames, remember.
