So it's Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals next for the winner of this one.

Carlos Alcaraz has won four of his six meetings with the Russian and it would be their third match together at Wimbledon.

Medvedev won in round two in 2021, 6-4 6-1 6-2, only for Alcaraz to get his revenge in last year's semi-finals, winning 6-3 6-3 6-3.

Tommy Paul's record against Medvedev is not as good, with just one win and three defeats from their four matches. The pair have not played each other on grass, with their only Grand Slam meeting seeing Medvedev win in four sets in their French Open second-round tie in 2021.

But who Medvedev plays is anyone's guess.
