Aleksandar Vukic is just showing the little signs of fatigue, such as trying to end points too quickly and a having a lack of patience.

They are all signs of a little fatigue, but we cannot write Vukic off because you can get a little bit of adrenaline or a little boost of something which can take care of fatigue.

Then he would be right back to the high level he has been playing at for most of this match.

  2. Draper holdspublished at 13:11 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 7-6 (7-5) 3-1 Vukic*

Will that prove to be the crucial break? Jack Draper has to keep his cool and carry on delivering strong service games.

No problem there as he pinches the corner of the court.

  4. Draper breakspublished at 13:08 Greenwich Mean Time

    *Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 7-6 (7-5) 2-1 Vukic

A stern 'stop please' from the umpire as she attempts to calm down the crowd, who let out a collective groan as Jack Draper gets himself a chance to break.

And the British number one gets it! Aleksandar Vukic appears to be fading slightly and that looked like a tired forehand effort.

Into the 15th set for Draper. He's putting us through it in these opening three rounds. I think he can get through this fifth set now.

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 7-6 (7-5) 1-1 Vukic*

Beautifullll. The drop shot sticks for Jack Draper and Aleksandar Vukic's return isn't enough to trouble the British number one.

And there's an ace to wrap up the love hold. A very confident service game.

Jack Draper is the new Andy Murray. No easy win. It's very entertaining whilst I 'work' from home.

  8. Vukic holdspublished at 13:00 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 7-6 (7-5) 1-1 Vukic

After taking a bit of time off court, Aleksandar Vukic is back and he gets the fifth set under way with a fairly comfortable hold.

Can Jack Draper do the same?

  9. Postpublished at 12:56 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 7-6 (7-5) Vukic

We're fast approaching midnight in Melbourne and Jack Draper is looking fairly calm and composed as he wolfs down a banana and an energy bar.

A fourth-round meeting with third seed Carlos Alcaraz awaits the winner of this match so a five-setter isn't ideal, but we're past worrying about that now!

Coming into this Aussie Open, Draper had only played three five-set matches in his career.

Now he's playing his third in a row.

Vukic is doing the same, too, and it will be down to who has the greater mental endurance over the next hour.

  11. Danilovic stuns seventh seed Pegulapublished at 12:52 Greenwich Mean Time

    Danilovic 7-6 (7-3) 6-1 Pegula

Well Serbia's Olga Danilovic came through a tough opening set by clinching the tie-break against American seventh seed Jessica Pegula but absolutely demolished the US Open finalist in that second one.

A brilliant showing from the world number 55, who was cheered on by compatriot Novak Djokovic, who snuck back into Rod Laver to see Danilovic win that match.

The 23-year-old looked composed and punished Pegula's errors to get the job done in straight sets.

Pegula has never gone past the quarter-final phase of a Grand Slam.

  12. Game and fourth set - Draperpublished at 12:51 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 7-6 (7-5) Vukic

    This time he gets it!

Jack Draper's brutal first serve forces Aleksandar Vukic out wide and the Australian can't recover quick enough to reach the Briton's next hit.

For the third match in a row, Draper goes to five sets.

  13. Set point Draperpublished at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 6-6 (5-5) Vukic

Here we go again. Set point number three for Jack Draper.

    Third time lucky?

  14. 'I would be moving a little slow as well'published at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time

Can you imagine two five-set matches back-to-back?

Now this one is going to be potentially four sets, but we are staring at another fifth.

I would be moving a little slow as well, but it has been impressive between these two.

The drop shot has been an absolute must because of how big they both hit the ball. They can hit the drop shot, execute it at the right times and it has paid dividends.

  15. Tie-breakpublished at 12:49 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 6-6 (5-5) Vukic

Aggressive play from Jack Draper with the serve-volley combo paying dividends.

His defence is simply brilliant on the next point, but after running from one side of the court to the other, and back again, Aleksandar Vukic finds an empty court.

  16. Tie-breakpublished at 12:47 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 6-6 (4-4) Vukic

Aleksandar Vukic holds a hand up in apology as the ball clips the net and moves out of Jack Draper's reach.

The world number 68 might feel apologetic but there's a huge roar from the crowd. They don't mind one bit.

Draper does well to ignore the noise and pull level. 4-4.

  17. Tie-breakpublished at 12:45 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 6-6 (3-3) Vukic

Aleksandar Vukic put his all into those forehands and the power ultimately proves too much for Jack Draper. 3-3.

  18. Tie-breakpublished at 12:44 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 6-6 (2-2) Vukic

Nothing to separate the pair so far as Jack Draper goes the wrong side of Aleksandar Vukic with the pass, and the Australian makes him pay for it.

  19. Tie-breakpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time

    Draper 6-4 2-6 5-7 6-6 (1-1) Vukic

Jack Draper finds the T with his first serve, but he can't keep up on the next point with Aleksandar Vukic working him around the court. 1-1

  20. 'Vukic just stopped that volley on a dime'published at 12:42 Greenwich Mean Time

Aleksandar Vukic just stopped that volley on a dime!

The smile and the fist pump - it was almost as if to say: 'It's just another shot, I can hit that any time'.
