    Raducanu 6-3 1-1 Vondrousova*

Raducanu has to work very hard for the next point, mixing things up. Chucking a slice in here and there, going back to some flatter forehands.

Eventually Vondrousova gets impatient and when she chucks a backhand out, Radders makes plenty of noise again, screaming "come on" as she turns to her bench.

She's upbeat after winning the next point too - to get on the board in the second set.

Marketa Vondrousova is going to up her game because the level of Emma Raducanu today has been really impressive.

Vondrousova needs to be more aggressive earlier in points.

A big key to this is that Raducanu needs to be able to sustain this level.

Raducanu's fully found her groove this evening. Bam. A double-handed backhand skids past Vondrousova at the net and clips the line. 30-0.

    *Raducanu 6-3 0-1 Vondrousova

The first point of a new set. I like to call this one a tone-setter.

Ah, a double fault's not a great sign for Marketa Vondrousova.

She then errors a backhand, but quickly rebuilds and wins the next four points on the bounce to hold to 30.

    How impressive was that!

Emma Raducanu raises a fist as members of the crowd jump up to their feet to applaud her first-class first-set effort.

The British number one is making this very uncomfortable for Marketa Vondrousova and owning the stage in front of her expectant home support.

Four-time Grand Slam winner Naomi Osaka is through to round three - Wimbledon hasn't been her favourite hunting ground but she sees off Katerina Siniakova 6-3 6-2.

Joining her in the last 32 is America's Amanda Anisimova, who completed a straight-set victory over Renata Zarazua.

Terrific intensity from Emma Raducanu, I love the sense of urgency that she is playing with.

Very impressive. The first set was so well executed. So many returns back in play. She is putting the pressure on Marketa Vondrousova - she broke her twice.

It feels like Emma is very clear on how to play, she is trying to produce some mistakes from Vondrousova and she has done that.

A top-class set of tennis from Emma Raducanu. She takes it after Marketa Vondrousova pops a backhand long.

Vondrousova won the Wimbledon title two years ago. But British number one Raducanu is making her look very ordinary.

Game, set and match - Burrage & Kartalpublished at 18:58 British Summer Time 2 July

    Burrage/Kartal 4-6 6-1 7-5 Bouzas Maneiro/Cavalle-Reimers

They did it the hard way but British pair Sonay Kartal and Jodie Burrage progress to the second round.

Kartal produces the perfect service game as Jessica Bouzas Maneiro can only return a forehand into the net.

Spanish duo Bouzas Maneiro and Yvonne Cavalle-Reimers won the first set but could not maintain their form as Kartal and Burrage took the deciding set in 55 minutes - the longest set of the match.

Two wins for Kartal in the same day, not bad at all.

  18. Break points Raducanupublished at 18:58 British Summer Time 2 July

    Raducanu 4-3 Vondrousova*

    "Fault!"

A high-pitch cry from the umpire and Raducanu greets it with a fist bump. Vondrousova goes long and Raducanu goes up 15-40.

This for three breaks on the trot.

As the stands continue to refill, Raducanu’s breakthrough rightly brought the biggest cheer of the match so far.

The British number one had to remain patient, but that stunning winner was worth waiting for.

She’s celebrating her winners and the crowd are responding, but Marketa Vondrousova moves quickly to remind her that there are two Grand Slam champions on this famous stage tonight.

    *Raducanu 4-3 Vondrousova

Incredible offence for Emma Raducanu first and then the defensive skills.

She found that passing shot when it didn't seem like there was much room.

Raducanu has come out with just the right balance of offence and defence.
