He is certainly looking a bit more energised than he did in that fourth set.

He has brought the level once again, the bathroom break seems to have paid off. He just looks a different character once again.

This first game is going to be very crucial for Norrie, after being broken early in the fourth set.

    Medvedev 5-7 3-6 6-4 6-1 0-0 Norrie*

    Russell Fuller
Tennis correspondent on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra and BBC Sounds

Cameron Norrie has played a lot of matches recently, but they obviously haven't been of this length or over five sets. It is very difficult mentally.

He had managed to do what he had never done before against Daniil Medvedev by winning two sets but the nature of that fourth set, with Medvedev winning 16 points in a row and Norrie only taking eight points in total, will have been very damaging psychologically.

Norrie is clearly going to be very tired from the word go in this fifth set.

    Medvedev 5-7 3-6 6-4 6-1 0-0 Norrie*

It does feel like the whole match has just hit a lull, doesn't it?

Even the crowd have gone a bit quiet. You would think they would be a bit raucous wanting a fifth set, almost like a football crowd, but they have kind of lost energy as well.

It's like the crowd have gone into a bit of a trance...

British pair Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool have eased through their first round match against Rinky Hijikata and Miomir Kecmanovic in the men's doubles.

Cash and Glasspool were stunned in the first set, with Hijikata and Kecmanovic claiming a break of serve at 3-3 and then maintaining control to see out the opener 6-4.

But the British sixth seeds fought back with back-to-back sets on court four to storm through to the second round 4-6 6-2 6-3.

Elsewhere in the men's doubles, fellow Brits Joe Salisbury and Neal Skupski are currently in action on court five.

The 21-year-old American has been on top form during the clay-court season, but she has missed out on a title after losing in the final at both Rome and Madrid.

She's enjoying a perfect start against Australia's Olivia Gadecki, who has just double faulted to drop serve for a second time.
