Just behind court 12 is court three, where Brit Johannus Monday is in action against Tommy Paul of the USA and the American clearly has a sizeable backing here as chants of “Tommy!” were loud even from where I’m sat.

The cheers for Heather Watson are drowning them out now though after two really good games from the Brit.

That's a crucial hold from Monday.

He's been struggling on serve so far but that was as comfortable as it gets, barely giving Paul a look-in with three wide serves.
