    *Kecmanovic 1-2 Djokovic

This looks like it's got the makings of an entertaining match. Some lengthy rallies and deft touches already in the opening three games - both players settling in nicely.

    Woahhh, what happened there?

Novak Djokovic just face-planted and found himself face down in the grass.

We've had a bit of rain today but largely the roof has been over Centre Court so it shouldn't be too slippy out there.

  3. Kecmanovic holdspublished at 18:15 British Summer Time 5 July

    Kecmanovic 1-1 Djokovic*

At deuce, Novak Djokovic slips at the back of the court when planting his left foot. The former champion is OK though.

Miomir Kecmanovic holds serve and we're level again.

When you play against a fellow countryman, you can feel that intimidation factor because it is someone you have looked up to.

Djokovic has such a fast return, straight down the middle and he is able to climb on top of the forehand. These opening few games are important for Kecmanovic to establish himself.

  5. Djokovic holds in opening gamepublished at 18:11 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Kecmanovic 0-1 Djokovic

Miomir Kecmanovic gives his compatriot a bit of a runaround before besting him in a 16-stroke rally with a perfectly played drop shot.

At that stage Novak Djokovic was 40-0 up but the less heralded of the two Serb opponents fights back to take it to deuce.

Djokovic gets a handy net cord before serving his second ace to see out the opening game.

Game, set and match - De Minaurpublished at 18:10 British Summer Time 5 July

    De Minaur 6-4 7-6 (7-5) 6-3 Holmgren

Alex de Minaur books his place in round four with a business-like victory against Danish qualifier August Holmgren.

De Minaur reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon last year and has made it to that stage on four of his last five appearances at Grand Slam events - missing out only when he exited the French Open in round two last month.

The Australian 11th seed faces either sixth seed and 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic or Miomir Kecmanovic next.

Jaume Munar gets a set back against Marin Cilic.

A great response from the Spaniard who struggled to put his stamp on things in the first set. A set to forget for the Croatian though, who probably put out his worst set of this year's championships.

Things are all level on court 18 - who will come out on top here?

First things first, Cilic needs to pick himself back up. Oh, and he responds by taking the first two games in the third!

Well the sun was creeping out a moment ago but as soon as I got my phone out to take a picture it's dipped behind the clouds again.

The roof is off so let's hope for no rain disruptions.

Novak Djokovic is taking on his compatriot Miomir Kecmanovic for a place in the fourth round and, if he wins, that will be 100 victories at Wimbledon.

Only Roger Federer and Martina Navratilova can boast that same achievement, with Federer holding the record for most wins by a male player at the All England Club with 105.

Even if Djokovic goes all the way, he won't achieve that here. If he won the whole tournament, he'd be one win away. Which is pretty annoying, isn't it?

Novak Djokovic has 99 Wimbledon match victories

Novak Djokovic secured a 100th Tour-level singles title in Geneva in May and he has his sights on another century.

A victory today would see him reach the landmark of 100 match wins at Wimbledon. Only Martina Navratilova (120) and Roger Federer (105) have previously managed to get to that milestone.

  11. 'Tough to watch' - Krejcikova battles tearspublished at 18:05 British Summer Time 5 July

    Navarro 2-6 6-3 6-4 Krejcikova

Barbora Krejcikova's Wimbledon title defence came to a tearful end earlier as physical struggles proved too much in a three-set defeat by American 10th seed Emma Navarro.

The 29-year-old Czech became increasingly distressed in the third set and had to have her blood pressure taken.

Krejcikova leaned on the back of the court and cried when just one game from defeat.

    Kecmanovic v Djokovic

No surprise to see that Novak Djokovic has the advantage in the head-to-head record against his fellow Serb Miomir Kecmanovic.

Djokovic has won all three previous meetings and was victorious in straight sets when they met in the third round at Wimbledon in 2022.

Three sets and three deciding tie-breaks in this match between Brandon Nakashima and Lorenzo Sonego on court 14. The crowd are being treated to an absolute thriller!

The Italian comes out on top once again, winning his second tie-break of the match with a sweetly-hit serve that was just too powerful for the 29th seed to return.

The momentum is surely with Sonego now - will Nakashima find his way back into this third round match?
