Marton Fucsovics holds and Ben Shelton will serve to stay in this second set.

We've still only had one break of serve in this match so far.

It's really high quality, and really fine margins.

  2. 'Djokovic is experimenting with his shots'published at 19:08 British Summer Time 5 July

    Kecmanovic 3-6 0-5 Djokovic*

    Jeff Tarango
Former American tennis player on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 3 and BBC Sounds

Novak Djokovic is experimenting with his shots and trying different things out there because he has no reason not to.

He is even looking to see if he can take the backhand inside-out on the second serve.

Well this has rapidly become very difficult for Miomir Kecmanovic.

The crowd can only muster sympathetic groans for the Serb as he goes down a triple break of serve.

Stick a fork in this set, and possibly the match.

Novak Djokovic is just too good today.

  5. 'Soul-destroying for Kecmanovic'published at 19:06 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Kecmanovic 3-6 0-4 Djokovic

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC Two

In the first set, you thought it was game on. But now it looks very different. This is soul-destroying for Kecmanovic because he thought he had his last service game in the bag.

When you are this far up, Djokovic can afford to try different shots and volleys. Seven games in a row now.

  6. Djokovic holdspublished at 19:06 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Kecmanovic 3-6 0-4 Djokovic

Novak Djokovic seems impenetrable at the moment. Everything he does is coming off. A serve-and-volley attempt, a great return by Miomir Kecmanovic right at Djokovic's feet, but he picks it off his toes and sends it away for a winner.

Seven games in a row now.

  7. 'I feel like we are rewinding the tapes'published at 19:02 British Summer Time 5 July

    Kecmanovic 3-6 0-3 Djokovic*

    Marion Bartoli
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 3 and BBC Sounds

Seeing Novak Djokovic play like this makes me feel like we are rewinding the tapes to five, six or eight years ago when he was just sliding everywhere.

I remember him playing on Centre Court and people finding it impossible to hit a winner against him.

    He looks so sharp!

  8. Djokovic breakspublished at 19:01 British Summer Time 5 July

    Kecmanovic 3-6 0-3 Djokovic*

Not sure if it's a drop in level for Miomir Krecmanovic, a raise in level by Novak Djokovic or a combination of the two, but this second set has a different feel about it.

Two more break points for Djokovic and the 38-year-old hits a dream of a backhand down the line for a winner for a sixth game in a row.

    Magical.

  9. Fucsovics holdspublished at 19:01 British Summer Time 5 July

    Shelton 6-3 3-4 Fucsovics*

What a missed opportunity for Ben Shelton.

The American has two break points but barely makes Marton Fucsovics sweat to save either of them.

The Hungarian wins four points in a row to keep us on serve but Shelton will be kicking himself.

  10. 'Djokovic hits with perfection'published at 19:00 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Kecmanovic 3-6 0-2 Djokovic

    Pat Cash
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Two

You cannot afford to be missing easy put-away balls when you are playing against Djokovic. Not only does he get to the ball, he does something with it.

    He hits with perfection.

  11. Djokovic holdspublished at 18:57 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Kecmanovic 3-6 0-2 Djokovic

Novak Djokovic races 40-0 up but Miomir Kecmanovic hangs on in there, until he sends a forehand a yard past the baseline.

    Djokovic in command.

  12. 'Kecmanovic under pressure'published at 18:54 British Summer Time 5 July

    Kecmanovic 3-6 0-1 Djokovic*

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC Two

Incredible movement, but Kecmanovic has got to keep his focus and intensity.

There was quite a lot of pressure on his serve in the first game of the second set. Kecmanovic is not that tall but he can get it in at 130mph. But it is straight back at him.

  13. Djokovic breaks at start of second setpublished at 18:53 British Summer Time 5 July

For the first time, Novak Djokovic looks like he's taken proper charge of this match. He's been playing well throughout, but Miomir Kecmanovic was matching him in the first set.

Kecmanovic is more on the defensive in his opening service game of set two though and, when he goes long with a forehand, it signals another break of serve.

  14. Fucsovics holdspublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 5 July

    Shelton 6-3 2-3 Fucsovics*

    Marton Fucsovics holds again.

The Hungarian's done very little wrong so far today. He hits so cleanly off either side.

His problem right now is that Ben Shelton is giving very little away on serve.

  15. 'Djokovic has been feeling the serve so well'published at 18:49 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Kecmanovic 3-6 0-0 Djokovic

    Marion Bartoli
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 3 and BBC Sounds

That was a 118mph second serve right on the line!

Novak Djokovic has just been feeling the serve so well since the beginning of this tournament. It is incredible.

    Pete Sampras-esque.

  16. Game and first set - Djokovicpublished at 18:48 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Kecmanovic 3-6 0-0 Djokovic

Novak Djokovic remains metronomic on serve, keeps finding lines with groundstrokes and wraps up a wonderful first set with an ace.

Miomir Kecmanovic has not done too much wrong there but finds himself a set down against one of the game's greats.

  17. 'Djokovic on the prowl'published at 18:46 British Summer Time 5 July

    Kecmanovic 3-5 Djokovic*

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC Two

Djokovic is most definitely on the prowl. His movement on the court, it is like he has all the time in the world on his forehand.

You have to take the chances when you get them, but the speed paid off for Djokovic in that last game.

  18. Djokovic breakspublished at 18:45 British Summer Time 5 July

    Kecmanovic 3-5 Djokovic*

    There's the break of serve!

Miomir Kecmanovic can't hold on during a marathon service game and, as Jess said a short while ago, that might be the pivotal moment in this first set.

Frightfully entertaining stuff, though. More of this, please, chaps.

    Brilliant tennis!!!

The crowd were oooh-ing and ahh-ing every shot as both men scrambled around court to return the ball.

Djokovic eventually brought up a break point with a backhand winner down the line and the crowd leapt to their feet.

The seven-time champion here sat on the turf having returned the ball off-balance then waved his arms in the air to encourage the crowd to make more noise.

    Brilliant.

  20. 'Frustration for Kecmanovic'published at 18:43 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Kecmanovic 3-4 Djokovic

    Pat Cash
Former Wimbledon champion on BBC Two

I have never seen a player hit so many baselines as Djokovic. It is like he has a magnet for hitting it.

Frustration is showing for Kecmanovic, but it is relentless from Djokovic. He rarely gives you a free point.
