Marin Cilic is rolling back the years.

The 36-year-old, who has only playing at his fourth Grand Slam event since reaching the semi-finals of the French Open in 2022, has taken the third set to lead Spain's Jaume Munar.

Cilic, who reached the final at Wimbledon in 2017, broke twice en route to wrapping up the set against the 28-year-old.

  3. What a point!published at 18:41 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Kecmanovic 3-4 Djokovic

Gasps at several moments of a lengthy point at deuce.

It ends with a diving Novak Djokovic nudging a winner down the line for a break point, but that only tells about a tenth of the story.

    Amazing stuff.

Novak Djokovic shakes his head as he has the court at his mercy to earn a break point but can only find the net.

Feels like a crucial game, this one.

    *Kecmanovic 3-4 Djokovic

Novak Djokovic is gifted a couple of cheap points to get to deuce on the Miomir Kecmanovic serve.

The world number 49 and the world number six swap forehand winners, and then an apology from Djokovic as a favourable net cord gets him back to deuce once more.

Then ooof, Djokovic will be disappointed with that - a fairly open court for a forehand but he shanks it into the net.

But we're back to deuce again now...

Ben Shelton takes home an absorbing first set on court one.

The American only won eight points on Marton Fucsovics' serve, compared to losing 11 on his own.

But the 10th seed is a set up here.

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC Two

Djokovic is able to hit down the line so aggressively, but it doesn't look like much of a risk.

He is also finding a nice rhythm on serve.

Miomir Kecmanovic has started really, really well here.

Novak Djokovic hits the baseline a couple of times with groundstrokes but Kecmanovic gets them back, pounces on a slightly shorter ball to win the point and then finds an ace to wrap up the game.

A highly-entertaining encounter continues to play out on court 14 between American Brandon Nakashima and Italy's Lorenzo Sonego.

The pair will scrap out it in a fifth set after Nakashima picked up the crucial break - doing it to love - in the sixth game.

Nakashima and Sonego have both reached the fourth round at Wimbledon once previously.

    *Kecmanovic 2-3 Djokovic

    Pat Cash

Kecmanovic got it low enough with that slice, it was almost Roger Federer-esque. He drew Djokovic in, a good court player Kecmanovic.

    *Kecmanovic 2-3 Djokovic

Novak Djokovic's fine serving has continued in this third-round match. Although he was taken to deuce in the opening game, he hasn't really looked in too much danger.

Four aces and 72% of first serves in so far for last year's Olympic gold medallist.

  13. game, set and match

Game, set and match - Dolehide & Keninpublished at 18:26 British Summer Time 5 July

    Dolehide/Kenin 6-2 6-3 McDonald/Xu

The experience of American pair Caroline Dolehide and Sofia Kenin shines through as they take just an hour to win in straight sets and reach the last 16.

Ella McDonald is just unable to reach a thumping forehand down the line from Sofia Kenin.

British teenagers McDonald and Mimi Xu gave it their all and they will learn a lot from facing the 16th seeds despite defeat.

A hold to 30 for Kecmanovic.

That is how you win a match.

Excellent work from Britain's Hannah Klugman as she bagels Argentina's Sol Ailin Larraya Guidi in the second set to progress into the second round of the girl's singles.

The second seed in the junior event is back in action at SW19 having made her debut in the women's main draw earlier in the week, where she exited in straight sets to Leyla Fernandez.

Djokovic picks you apart on serve, not with pace but with precision. He hits his spots time and time again with his serve.

A wonderful rally and an incredible angle found by Djokovic to hold.
