You have got to make the Italian think about his forehand because his backhand is not going anywhere.

It was tactical for Martinez to take a medical time out because he has disrupted the rhythm. But Sinner knows he will win this match so he just needs to keep his concentration.

Mirra Andreeva is the hottest teenage prospect in the sport - no question.

She has already won two WTA 1000 titles - the highest tier of tournament below the Grand Slams - this year in Dubai and Indian Wells.

However, we still sometimes see her youthful exuberance and inexperience on the biggest stages.

The little dip to lose serve there is another sign.

You have got to put your neck out and go for it. Martinez may get a little bit longer than an hour and a half but not much. Sinner looks like a man on a mission.

It can get a little bit embarrassing on Centre Court if you don't get a game on the board.

    Sinner 5-0 Martinez*

    John McEnroe

Here comes the trainer, that makes sense for Pedro Martinez.

I would have taken the pain meds about half an hour before.

This is sad because here is a guy who will probably never be on Centre Court again, huge moment for him.

Defining moment in his career to get to the third round of Wimbledon and play Jannik Sinner.

    Harry Poole
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Standing out on Centre Court while you’re getting completely outplayed in every department and watching game after game go against you must feel a very lonely place to find yourself.

Pedro Martinez has no answer here to Jannik Sinner’s near-faultless start.

The world number one is drawing ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs’ from the crowd, who are still able to appreciate this clinical display despite a lack of a competitive edge to this one - so far anyway.

    Hailey Baptiste strikes back!

The American has broken serve for the first time in this match, after two rare double faults from Mirra Andreeva.

This time Baptiste gets a bit of luck from the net tape, and she seals the break with a wonder cross-court backhand which the Russian fails to return at full stretch.

Pedro Martinez has called the trainer.

The Spaniard looks to be struggling with his right arm and/or shoulder.

He's got some strapping on the back of his right shoulder, which would explain the rather meek serving so far this set.

    Sinner 5-0 Martinez*

It's another Jannik Sinner hold and it's a straightforward one for the Italian.

He's been under such little pressure so far that he relaxes, hitting a couple of loose forehands to give Pedro Martinez 30.

But a sumptuous forehand gives the Italian the hold.

Mirra Andreeva gets an all-important service break to love in this second set, albeit with a little help from the net tape on the winning point!

An absolutely body blow for the American, who needs to change something here to give herself a chance of staying in this third round match.

  19. Double break Sinnerpublished at 14:00 British Summer Time 5 July

    *Sinner 4-0 Martinez

Eek, this is an uncomfortable watch.

Pedro Martinez is serving at around 95mph right now. It's not clear whether that's down to nerves or if the Spaniard has an issue.

Either way, Jannik Sinner moves a double break up and he does so without barely breaking a sweat.

It has been a tough afternoon for Hailey Baptiste so far and the Court One crowd are doing their best to rally her.

Many fans inside an almost-full stadium are encouraging the American.

Nobody wants to see a one-sided mauling, do they?

    Well, apart from Andreeva's team...
