Darderi battles back to 30-30 but Fery has break point following further impressive net play.

    Nice composure from Evans.

BBC Sport senior tennis reporter at Wimbledon

While Dan Evans is battling hard, the gulf between him and the 24-time major champion has been just too big.

Evans' serve is not meaty enough to rock Djokovic, whose own serve has become increasingly potent over the years.

Djokovic has never lost a Grand Slam match to a player ranked as low as world number 154 Evans.

And it doesn't look like that will happen today.

  12. Fery holdspublished at 14:29 British Summer Time 3 July

    Fery 4-6 3-6 1-1 Darderi*

Arthur Fery defends incredibly well with a serve and volley for deuce.

Fery has won seven of nine points when utilising the serve and volley.

A fair few empty seats on court two suggests those in the Wimbledon grounds feel there is no way back for Briton Arthur Fery from two sets down.

Fery has a break point to defend after the longest rally of the match - 30 shots - ends with a lovely drop shot from Luciano Darderi.

You can't say it hasn't been coming as Evans springs a forehand long.

Djokovic will serve for the set.

  20. Andreeva holdspublished at 14:22 British Summer Time 3 July

    Andreeva 6-1 5-5 Bronzetti*

The longest rally of the match so far sees Lucia Bronzetti bring up two set points on the Mirra Andreeva serve.

Andreeva plays a drop shot and Italian Bronzetti can't do enough with it. Another forehand into the net sees the second breakpoint disappear.

As the teenager brings up a game point we have a pause for an incident in the crowd, but the umpire gets given the okay and we carry on with Andreeva securing the hold.
