It might only be delaying the inevitable but a hold is needed for Sonay Kartal to avoid handing Coco Gauff the chance to serve for the match.

But Gauff has break point as Kartal's forehand strays long.

Gauff attempts a drop shot, it's sliced back from Kartal and Gauff's lob shot goes too deep. Deuce.

Coco seems to have relaxed a little. She’s going for her shots, she’s playing freely and she’s going through the middle third to put Kartal under pressure.

I think we’re starting to see Kartal making a few more errors now and it’s not easy to keep playing at the level she was playing at and if she was able to keep that up, she would be ranked a lot higher.

Maria Sakkari is a great competitor. I do feel like sometimes she's her own worst enemy out there. I think she can get quite down on herself at times and she can get quite emotional on court.

Again, she has continued to mature as you do on tour and she's definitely come a long way.
