Andrey Rublev is getting agitated out on court two. The Russian sixth seed has just dropped the first set to Argentina's Francisco Comesana.

Rublev has been yelling to his box about how his opponent, who tends to ply his trade on the lower ATP Challenger tour, has been hitting nothing but the lines.

This could be a long one for the Russian.

Mixed emotions here on Centre Court. Support the defending champion or go for the underdog?

There's the biggest cheer so far as Jessica Bouzas Maneiro pulls Marketa Vondrousova in with a drop shot before disguising a pass to the baseline.

And then, a collective groan as Vondrousova double faults

    *Bouzas Maneiro 4-3 Vondrousova

The match on Centre Court has swung back in favour of Spain's Jessica Bouzas Maneiro. She won the opening two games, Marketa Vondrousova took the next three, but Bouzas Maneiro has broken the Czech Republic player again and now leads 4-3.

  4. Ruse avoids the bagelpublished at 14:11 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Rybakina 6-3 4-1 Ruse

Elena-Gabriela Ruse gets herself on the board in the second set.

She'll be relieved about that, especially after slipping and appearing to hyper-extend her knee at the end of Elena Rybakina's previous service game.

The 2022 champion went around the net to help her opponent up but will now want to get this match finished as quickly as possible.

There is a brief delay at the moment, though, as Ruse receives some treatment on her knee at the change of ends.

    *Rybakina 6-3 4-0 Ruse

    Johanna Konta
Former British number one on BBC TV

More than anything, Elena Rybakina is reading the game better and she is expecting those balls into the open court.

That can then make Elena-Gabriela Ruse feel like she has to go for even more.

    Munar 6-4 6-4 3-3 Harris*

It's still on serve in the third set on court 15 as Britain's Billy Harris tries to find a way back into this match from two sets down.

He is really struggling to create any chances on the Jaume Munar serve, though, and has had to save three break points already in this set.

But Harris is still hanging in there.

  8. Jubb serving to stay in setpublished at 14:05 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Jubb 6-1 6-3 4-5 Seyboth Wild

Paul Jubb desperately wanted that break but it didn't come in what was a significant game.

The Brit took Seyboth Wild to deuce but a backhand just went long and he's up against it.

The 24-year-old must hold here to stay in this set.

  9. 'Hasn't quite found her stride yet'published at 14:03 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Bouzas Maneiro 2-3 Vondrousova

    Emily Salley
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

Marketa Vondrousova looks like she hasn't quite found her stride yet and her movement is looking slightly laboured.

The defending champion suffered an injury scare just two weeks ago, withdrawing from the Berlin Open after hurting her hip in a nasty fall.

The snappers are out in force in this quiet corner of Aorangi Park. You know why.

The Murrays start practice with Andy hitting from the baseline and Jamie at the net. Roles are reversed a few minutes later.

Joining the pair on court are Andy’s coach Jonny O’Mara and Jamie’s coach Alan MacDonald.

Ten minutes or so later, Team Murray join forces on the same side of the net.

  11. 'Rybakina makes her opponents feel stressed'published at 14:02 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Rybakina 6-3 3-0 Ruse

    Johanna Konta
Former British number one on BBC TV

Elena Rybakina is the type of player who will make her opponents feel stressed to do more or almost over play because you feel like you won't get another opportunity.

She has that ability to make her opponents feel like they have to play and that's what Elena-Gabriela Ruse has to manage on her side. She has to remind herself that no she doesn't and that opportunities do come.

  12. Two quick breaks for Rybakinapublished at 14:02 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Rybakina 6-3 3-0 Ruse

Elena Rybakina has picked up where she left off in the first set, quickly breaking Elena-Gabriela Ruse.

The 2022 champion has just overpowered his Romanian opponent in the last few games and there was been no let up.

Credit to Ruse, who keeps fighting but even after going up 40-0, Rybakina is able to rattle off five straight points and a double fault gives the fourth seed a two-break advantage.

This one might not last too much longer.

  13. Vondrousova gets the break backpublished at 14:01 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Bouzas Maneiro 2-3 Vondrousova

It has been a good response from the reigning champion as Marketa Vondrousova, who was 2-0 down, has won three games in a row to get us back on serve on Centre Court.

  14. Choinski levels it uppublished at 13:59 British Summer Time 2 July

    Darderi 7-5 4-6 1-0 Choinski*

Over on court 17, Britain's Jan Choinski has levelled things up in his match with Italy's Luciano Darderi.

The Italian took the opening set 7-5, but, after the rain delay, Choinski won the second 6-4 and we're in the early stages of the third.

  15. 'Vondrousova definitely not comfortable'published at 13:57 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Bouzas Maneiro 2-1 Vondrousova

    Coco Vandeweghe
Former two-time Grand Slam semi-finalist on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds

Vondrousova definitely looks nervy but what’s more surprising and maybe shows the lasting bits of the injury she had in Germany is that she looks a little bit unsure with her footing.

She’s a little slow in the first step and if you’re worried after having a bad fall or the injury that she faced in Germany, sometimes you’re a little bit hesitant.

The mind and body don’t work together as well and she definitely does not look comfortable out on Centre Court.

  16. Watch how Dart became the first Briton through on Tuesdaypublished at 13:55 British Summer Time 2 July

Harriet Dart was in superb form with an impressive 6-4 6-0 win over China's Zhuoxuan Bai and you can watch how she wrapped up that match here.

That victory sets up a potential second-round meeting with British number one Katie Boulter.

  17. Jubb halts Seyboth Wild momentumpublished at 13:54 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Jubb 6-1 6-3 3-4 Seyboth Wild

Paul Jubb managed to hold his serve after losing three consecutive games to the world number 74.

However, the Brazillian continues to challenge the Brit by holding his serve himself, as we edge slowly towards the end of this set.

  18. 'Rybakina more in the driving seat'published at 13:53 British Summer Time 2 July

    Rybakina 6-3 0-0 Ruse*

    Johanna Konta
Former British number one on BBC TV

Elena Rybakina has won 100% of 1st serve points won in the first set. She has such a good serve.

She is the one who is in more the driving seat which is not something that you would not have thought at the beginning of the match because Elena-Gabriela Ruse was really committed to hitting into the open space constantly and I think she played like that through the whole set but it is a very hard thing to maintain over the course of a full set and especially over a full match.

  19. Postpublished at 13:53 British Summer Time 2 July

    Bouzas Maneiro 2-0 Vondrousova*

Marketa Vondrousova was pushing to get the immediate break back in a lengthy second game against Jessica Bouzas Maneiro.

The game went to deuce a couple of times, but an ace from the Spaniard consolidates that early break and she leads 2-0 on Centre.

This is the place to be if you’re a British fan at Wimbledon today.

In the shadow of Court One, home players Paul Jubb and Billy Harris are playing side by side on courts 14 and 15.

Look at the bottom left and you can see a throng of people gathered outside the entrance to Jubb’s court.

The narrow gangway on the other side will be jam packed, too.
