The ball was in by a very healthy margin in both directions.

  11. Game and first set - Munarpublished at 11:47 British Summer Time 2 July

    Munar 6-4 Harris*

Billy Harris made it to the semi-finals at Eastbourne but he is going to have to come from a set down if he is to make round two at Wimbledon.

Jaume Munar holds to 15 to take the first set and it is his big first serve that is doing the damage. The Spaniard has won 86% of first serve points so far.

    Munar 5-3 Harris*

Billy Harris is battling to avoid losing the first set now with Jaume Munar looking strong.

The Spaniard gets the break and although Harris - helped by a couple of fortunate net-chord bounces - comes back from 40-15 down to earn a break back point, Munar comes through.

An ace secures the hold and Harris will now serve to stay in the first set.

  15. Game and first set - Jubbpublished at 11:39 British Summer Time 2 July

    Jubb 6-1 Seyboth Wild

Excellent work from Britain's Paul Jubb on court 14 as he wraps up the first set inside half an hour.

Jubb jumped up 88 places in the latest world rankings after he reached the semi-final of an ATP 250 event in Mallorca on grass last week.

In that run he gained a win in the quarters over American Ben Shelton, who was 14th in the world at the time.

  16. Choinski holdspublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 2 July

    Darderi 4-3 Choinski*

Just the second hold of the match so far brought Jan Choinski back level against Luciano Darderi.

There had been four consecutive breaks before the Briton secured his first win on serve.

Darderi has just completed a comfortable hold of his own and it seems that both players are starting to settle on Court 17.

  17. Champagne on courtpublished at 11:35 British Summer Time 2 July

    *Dart 3-3 Zhuoxuan

    Charlotte Coates
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

In true Wimbledon fashion, someone has just popped a bottle of champers and the cork flew on court as Bai Zhuoxuan was about to serve.

The umpire asked the ball girl to pick it and there was a small chuckle around court 18.

    Jubb 5-1 Seyboth Wild*

A great start for Britain's Paul Jubb over on court 14 as he has stormed into a 5-1 lead over Brazil's Thiago Seyboth Wild.

Jubb is 201st in the rankings and up against the world number 74. This is 24-year-old Jubb's third time in the men's singles main draw at Wimbledon after going out in the first round in 2019 and 2022.

Two years ago he gave Nick Kyrgios a huge scare and was two sets to one up, before losing in a five-set thriller against the Australian, who went on to reach the final.

    Munar 3-3 Harris*

It's still on serve in the first set as Billy Harris - backed by the majority inside a packed on Court 15 - takes on Spain's Jaume Munar.

Harris brings up the first break point of the match but Munar saves it and goes on to hold after dictating things from the baseline for the next couple of points.
