Caroline Dolehide's two previous meetings with compatriot Coco Gauff have ended in straight set defeats and it looks like that's going to stretch to three.

Dolehide takes the first point on serve but Gauff quickly reasserts her dominance to win to 15.

Gauff looks imperious today.

A winner down the line gives the Brit an equalising set.

She made just four unforced errors in that whole second set.

At 4-1, if Jannik Sinner comes back to make it 4-2, that will be a very tricky service game to serve for Yannick Hanfmann.

The Coco Gauff train just keeps rolling on as, for the third time in this match, she takes a game to love.

Gauff really isn't keen on sticking around on Centre Court for too long and that's a real shame for those in attendance, although on this evidence she could be in the mix for the full two-week stretch at SW19.

Yannick Hanfmann gambled on the defence, just deciding to cover the forehand and it paid dividends because he was right on that ball to get the defence back with interest.

He can hit brilliant winners and he is a double break up.

The world number one looks like he might be forced into a fourth set. He needs to get himself going sharpish if he is going to avoid it.

It's uncomfortable when you start to lose your edge and a bit of confidence when you take these tumbles and certainly hitting the turf like Jannik Sinner did there.

You can see Dolehide trying to hit deep and fast to that forehand but Gauff is handling that beautifully.

Part of the game plan would be to use that backhand slice, just to change the rhythm.

Dolehide hits long which gives Gauff a healthy advantage in this first set.

At 40-40, Gauff and Dolehide exchanged a brilliant long rally before Gauff hit, what seemed, a wild backhand lob but it dropped in.

The crowd loved that one.

Yannick Hanfmann has been knocking on the door, that is well deserved.

He has been rewarded with the break but now the hard work begins.

Consolidation ahead.

Based on that he should be trying a few more!

Regardless, the German started the third set well, holding serve and then going up 0-30 on Jannik Sinner's serve, eventually forcing a break point.

Sinner then drags a forehand wide and Hanfmann is a break up in the third. This wasn't in the script.
