    [Evans has] got it, he's found the corner. A rare occasion where Etcheverry very untidy at the net. He didn't catch this volley cleanly and he just left it hanging in the middle of the court. A nice little nudge from Evans to find the space, maybe the door just ajar here for Evans to flip the momentum.

    He somehow pulls himself level to 30-30, though, nicking the back corner of the court with a perfectly placed forehand.

    He could have folded in the face of the relentless pressure being applied in that pivotal fourth game but he saved the four break points and from that moment on, he took control.

    Well, what a brilliant set of tennis. A real battle early on, the first four games, in fact the fourth game was pivotal. Etcheverry, 65% of first serves gone in, he's won 79%, it's no surprise, it's huge serving. His second last serve of the set was 142mph/h, his second ace.
