Hmmm. That didn't pan out as Evans and the home crowd hoped.

Feeling liberated after holding serve, Etcheverry decided to start rushing the net after pinning Evans back. The tactic paid off handsomely.

The Argentina fans here are jovially singing - and one or two dancing - to that 1950s Latin instrumental number 'Tequila'.

    You'll know the one.

If they can maintain this level of intensity, this could turn into a real epic. Evans still looking for the breakthrough having had three break points.

    I mean, seriously?!

Not sure how Dan Evans stayed in that point for so long, never mind won it.

Terrific tenacity from the Brit, who had to use every bit of his 5ft 9in frame to keep reaching the balls bouncing to the back of the court.

There is about 25 feet between the baseline and LED screens - but Evans was so far back he was almost featuring in one of the adverts.

    That's got the place rocking.
