Cameron: Small businesses are 'lifeblood' of UK economy
Thousands of rules affecting business are to be scrapped or amended, David Cameron is to announce in a speech to the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
Speaking to the Today programme, the prime minister described small business as "the lifeblood of our economy".
He added that the government is also "exempting a lot of micro-business from EU regulation".
