Labour candidate selection and union action in Falkirk
A Labour constituency party has been placed in special measures after allegations that one of the party's biggest backers, the Unite trade union, tried to rig candidate selection for the seat.
The Labour Party said there was "sufficient evidence to raise concern" but the union has denied any wrongdoing in selecting a candidate to replace Eric Joyce, who now sits as an independent MP.
Giles Dilnot reports from Falkirk, and spoke to the Telegraph's Dan Hodges, Eric Joyce, Cllr David Goldie and Equality Law Reports editor Michael Rubenstein.
