    Ellie Goulding (pictured) has a nomination at the even, which take place in Rotterdam in November, along with Years and Years, whose singer, Olly Alexander, went to the Hereford College of Arts.

    People in Malvern are being asked to tell the council what it's priorities should be over the next five years.

    There's an online survey on the council's website, external where people can rank choose three out of ten objectives in order of importance.

    The choices range from providing more affordable housing to improving the areas parks and open spaces.

    A wildlife trust is asking people to be on the lookout for a species of bee that is slowly making its way northward through the UK.

    The ivy bee, which lives and breeds in underground chambers, was only discovered by scientists in 1993.

    Worcestershire Wildlife Trust says colonies of the bee have been found in the Northwick area of Worcester.

  8. Three arrested after drugs raid in Worcesterpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

    Three men have been arrested after suspected cannabis was found in a drugs raid in Worcester.

    The trio was held on suspicion of being involved in the supply of Class B drugs after the operation yesterday. 

    The raid took place on Cranham Drive in Warndon and the two 30-year-olds and a 31-year-old were released on bail until the 24 October, police say.

    A 32-year old man from Worcester is being sought by police after breaching the conditions of a non-molestation order, external.

    West Mercia Police say Andrew Cornes may have left the Worcester area and that he has links to Cheltenham and Northern Ireland.

  14. Memorial evening for Herefordshire police officer killed while serving with the UNpublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

    The friends, family and former colleagues of a Herefordshire police officer who was murdered whilst serving in Cyprus will gather in Lyonshall tonight to remember him. 

    Sgt Hugh Carter, of the Herefordshire Constabulary, was shot and killed 60 years ago this week whilst he serving with the United Kingdom police unit in Cyprus - he was only 25 years old. 

    His brother Joe, a former police inspector, will be paying tribute to Hugh in tonight's special memorial evening at the Church of St Michael and All Angels.

  15. Cricket: Fastest hundred award for Worcestershire batsmanpublished at 11:20 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

    Worcestershire Tom Kohler-Cadmore won the Walter Lawrence Trophy for scoring the fastest hundred of the 2016 domestic season.

    The batsman lifted the award for his 43-ball century in the Rapids opening NatWest T20 Blast fixture of the summer against Durham Jets at New Road.

  17. Watch: Dogs at risk because their chip details are not up-to-datepublished at 10:31 British Summer Time 27 September 2016

    The Dogs Trust say dogs are at risk of being put down because the details on the microchip have not been updated.

    The charity say more than 15,000 stray dogs were picked up last year - many of them were microchipped, but not with up-to-date information.

    The results come from the organisation's annual survey of local authorities, which also revealed 3,463 stray dogs had been destroyed in the last year.
