    Meet Captain Adam Hugill (pictured), a member of the Yorkshire Regiment.

    He is currently walking more than 200 miles from Warminster in Wiltshire to Beverley in time for Christmas.

    It's for charity of course!

    He's raising money for "Walking With The Wounded" which helps physically or mentally injured veterans get back into work.

    British Transport Police want to speak to him in connection with a bag snatch at Grimsby Town station on Monday 28 November around 15:30.

    A man got off a train from Cleethorpes and grabbed an unattended bag from a bench on his way out of the station.

    The victim’s contactless bank card was then used at three shops in the town centre.

    The government has committed to resettle 20,000 in the UK by the end of 2020.

    Humberside Police have dealt with an incident on the busy A63 this morning in which a man was seen walking on the road.

    They were called to the scene in the Melton area around 09:30. 

    Officers say the man is now off the carriageway.

    Driffield needs either a minor injuries or urgent care centre according to the town's mayor. 

    Under current proposals from the East Riding Clinical Commissioning Group, Driffield's Minor Injuries Unit would close and patients would be have to travel to Beverley or Bridlington for treatment. 

    Mark Blakeston says the town can't afford to lose the facility.

    BMW is creating around 100 jobs at a new vehicle storage and inspection site in Killingholme.

    The port, run by Able UK, will have room for 10,000 vehicles and will be ready by the end of 2017 with contracts lasting nine years.
