    Young people in North East Lincolnshire have been told that their votes could have a major influence on the outcome of the general election on 8 June..

    But figures show that only 43% of 18 to 24-year-olds went down to their polling station to cast their ballot at the last general election in 2015.

    In a bid to turn this around, students at the University Centre in Grimsby have received a delegation from Westminster to encourage them to vote.

    This is the scene at the home of missing Hull woman Renata Antczak this morning, following the news that two men have been arrested in connection with her disappearance:

    Police officers are currently at the scene, with searches currently being carried out at "a number of addresses" in Hull as part of the investigation into the whereabouts of the 49-year-old lawyer.

    Announcing that two men have been arrested as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Hull woman Renata Antczak, police have added that inquries into her whereabouts are continuing.

    The lawyer, 49, was last seen walking near her home in Beamsley Way, Hull, at about 13:00 on 25 April.

    She had taken her daughter to Broadcare Primary School in a black Mercedes C220 car that morning.

    At the time, Humberside Police said she had not been missing before and there was no indication of her having any mental health issues.

    She is described as white, 5ft 6in tall, with a slim build and straight shoulder-length blonde hair.

    Humberside Police say the arrest follows new information about her disappearance coming to light.

    Officers are also searching a number of addresses in Hull as part of ongoing inquiries, police add.

    One of the men who climbed 500ft up the Humber Bridge without ropes or safety gear has told BBC Look North he was fully in control of his actions, and has denied putting himself and others at risk.

    Ryan Taylor was among a group of men who breached security and climbed to the top of the South Tower in the early hours of Monday.

    Security arrangements at the bridge are now being reviewed, but police say no crime has been committed.

    Thousands of people from Cleethorpes are preparing to head to Wembley this weekend.

    Cleethorpes Town will play at the national stadium for the first time in their history as they face South Shields in the final of the FA Vase.

    The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Cyber Crime Unit will be talking to businesses and other organisations today about protecting themselves against ransomware.

    Ransomware is a malicious program that locks a computer's files until a ransom is paid.

    Today's event in Leeds follows last weekend's cyber attacks where several NHS hospitals and surgeries across the region, including many in Lincolnshire, had their computers hacked.

    Staff were unable to access patient records, appointments and prescriptions.

    There's been a rise in the number of robberies in North East Lincolnshire, according to Humberside Police.

    Since the beginning of April there have been 30 robberies in the county with the majority involving mobile phones and cycles being taken.

    People are being urged to register their possessions like bikes and laptops.

    A new reading project aimed at reducing stress and anxiety is launched in Hull today.

    The Reading Rooms project encourages people to read aloud and to share their personal experiences with others in a group.

    The group sessions are led by a trained facilitator.

    A total of £750,000 is being invested in the programme.

    The political parties are now increasingly targeting us via sites like Twitter and Facebook depending on who we are and what we like doing, in a similar way to how businesses advertise.

    But Professor Alex Charles says political parties haven't yet properly harnessed the power of social media, and there is currently no evidence that any party has won an election because of what people see online.
