More than 100 MPs have put their names to a letter calling on the government to replace the Red Arrows aircraft sooner than planned, in an effort to save jobs at BAE.

Last week it was announced that 400 jobs could go at the BAE site in Brough.

"If this were to happen, there would be virtually no possibility to build any future Hawk aircraft in the UK."

The MoD said there was "no requirement" to replace the jets before 2030.
