  1. Major Grimsby road development on holdpublished at 13:27 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2017

Plans to remove a busy junction in North East Lincolnshire have been put on hold.

    Toll Bar, Grimsby

North East Lincolnshire Council was going to spend millions on replacing Grimsby's Toll Bar roundabout with traffic lights.

But the authority has now told the BBC it'll pause work on changes to the junction until it's reviewed feedback from the local community.

A series of meetings and letter drops on the planned works - which were expected to start early next year - have already taken place.

If the work does finally go ahead, it's expected to mean months of congestion for drivers.

    BHS Mural

The local authority expects to complete the deal within the coming weeks and hopes demolition will begin in June.

No commitment has yet been made to save the BHS mural and there are future plans for the site which don't include it.

The news came out as the council's Planning Manager, Alex Codd, gave evidence at the appeal inquiry for the Kingswood retail development.

  6. Public inquiry to begin into shopping centre planspublished at 11:19 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2017

Controversial plans to expand an out of town shopping centre in Hull will go before a public inquiry today.

The site at Kingswood would include shops and restaurants. Developers Keir Group have appealed against a decision in September by Hull City Council to reject the plans.

City-centre businesses were worried it would take customers away from the centre of Hull.

  9. Peter Kay: Disabled fan says he faced ticket 'discrimination'published at 09:48 Greenwich Mean Time 21 November 2017

A man from Hull has told us disabled people are being discriminated against because they can't book gig tickets online.

Jamie Coutts says after more than 500 phone calls and a large phone bill he still didn't manage to get tickets to see Peter Kay (pictured) at Leeds First Direct Arena.

Standard tickets can be booked online but accessible tickets can only be booked over the phone, and that comes at an additional cost

    Peter Kay

Leeds First Direct Arena says it has a dedicated phone line for accessible tickets which was staffed for high demand. The box office team are now in the process of calling customers who contacted them directly to assist with their bookings.

In July, Jessica Hatchett, who has cerebral palsy, launched a campaign to get better access to live music for disabled fans.

She said she disabled fans faced "discrimination" after finding it impossible to get tickets for an Ed Sheeran concert in Cardiff next year.
