    Reducing speed limits has made some of North East Lincolnshire's roads more dangerous, it's being claimed.

    In parts of Grimsby, there's been an increase in the number of accidents since the introduction of several 20mph zones, new figures show.

    Phillip Jackson, the Conservative leader of North East Lincolnshire Council, says this shows the lower speed limits aren't working.

    North East Lincolnshire Council says it will look into the causes of these accidents in more detail and will report back in the new year.

    It beat Leicester, Dundee and Swansea Bay to the right to hold the title in 2017.

    The UK government chooses a new destination every four years, with the aim of helping tourism and the economy.

    Former steelworkers in Scunthorpe are being invited to find out what changes to their pensions will mean for them today.

    About 130,000 members of the pension scheme are being asked to choose between two alternative retirement funds - which are both less generous than they were expecting.

    It follows a decisions to split the scheme from Tata Steel UK.
