BBC NewsA 38-year-old man has been charged with assaulting a police officer in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Nottinghamshire Police said the officer suffered minor injuries at an address in Beechwood Court on Saturday.
The man was also charged with breach of a restraining order and is in custody ahead of a magistrates court appearance later.
