    Pharmacists in Lincolnshire say they're seeing an increase in people with a lingering cough. 

    The virus seems to last three to four weeks.

    It usually can't be treated by antibiotics so there's no point seeing your doctor, unless you have more serious symptoms such as blood in your phlegm or breathlessness.

    There's only about 5,000 tickets left for the FA Cup third round replay between Lincoln City and Ipswich Town at Sincil Bank next Tuesday.

    And by the looks of this video I don't think they will last long!

    The family of a girl who was hit by a car in Tattershall are calling for lower speed limits in the area. 

    Lilli-Mae Singlehurst, 12, and her dad were walking along the footpath on Thorpe Road when a car hit them last week.

    Her father Andrew Singlehurst has started a petition asking for the speed to be reduced from 60 to 40 miles per hour.

    Lincolnshire County Council says it'll consider if any changes need to be made once the police finish their investigations.

    The Labour MP for Grimsby will today start the process to create a bill to protect workers rights once Britain leaves the EU.

    Melanie Onn wants EU employment legislation on things like holiday and maternity pay to be enshrined in UK law. 

    The bill will get a second reading in Parliament on Friday.

    The City of Lincoln Council has come up with its vision for 2020 and councillors will be discussing the ideas at a meeting later.

    Figures have just been released on the number of skaters who took to the ice in Lincoln city centre around Christmas.

    Scunthorpe United boss Graham Alexander says he won't let Kyle Wootton go out on loan again before assessing him over the next few weeks. 

    He's back from a three month spell at North Ferriby United who are keen to see him return to Church Road. 

    This evening, United head to Oxford in the Checkatrade Trophy.

    The family, who Nottinghamshire Police said were "utterly bereft", added that Mr Harris was a "very caring and doting son".

    "Since his father died three years ago, he had greatly supported and helped his mother," they said.

    The statement also said the software engineer was an animal lover, a great outdoors enthusiast who had travelled the world.

    Police have released a statement, external from the family of a man who died after being hit by a lorry on the A57 in Nottinghamshire on Christmas Eve.

    Dave Harris, 33, from Ragnall, died after he was struck at about 03:40 in Dunham-on-Trent.

    His mum Anne Harris and fiance Alex Postolowsky said he was "popular, adored, selfless, kind and generous".

    "He was open-minded, hard-working and a tolerant individual who had a thirst for knowledge, particularly on world affairs," they said.
