    Spitting, drinking and urinating in the street in Spalding are being tackled by police officers. 

    The police now have the power to ask people to stop - and if they don't - they can prosecute offenders. 

    The Public Spaces Protection Order was introduced in December following complaints of anti-social behaviour. 

    District councillor Jack McLean says he's already seen an improvement in standards of behaviour on the streets.

    A BBC investigation has highlighted failings in the way Tunisian Police handled terrorist attacks where two Lincolnshire women were killed in 2015. 

    Carly Lovett from Gainsborough was among 38 people killed at a beach resort in Sousse in June.

    Three months earlier - Sally Adey from Scothern died along with 22 people at the Bardo museum in Tunis.

    The investigation by the BBC's Panorama programme Terror on the Beach, was screened last night. 

    Inquests into the deaths are expected to begin next week.

    They've still got to beat the Tractor Boys at Sincil Bank - but if Lincoln City pull off an upset a week today they'll be hosting Championship leaders Brighton and Hove Albion.

    Supporters watched the FA Cup fourth round draw at Sincil Bank last night and were reasonably pleased with the result.

    Some were hoping for a bigger name, like Manchester United, but Imps manager Danny Cowley's still at pains to make it clear the third round replay against Ipswich is top of the agenda.

    Rough sleepers are to get more help in Lincolnshire - thanks to government funding. 

    More than £1 million has been awarded to the county. 

    The money will be used to provide intensive support for a hundred and twenty homeless people over the next four years.  

    Sixteen authorities and agencies are involved in the initiative including District Councils, the Police, Addaction and Healthwatch Lincolnshire. 

    They're now tasked with ensuring homeless people become drug and alcohol free and can access education, training and employment.

    The name of a man whose body was found by a roadside, external in Lincolnshire has been released by the police. 

    23-year-old Chase Tate was discovered by the A1104 near Alford in the early hours of Saturday morning. 

    Lincolnshire Police say investigations are continuing into how he died and are appealing for information.

    There'll be an open day at Sobraon Barracks in Lincoln next month on 18 February.

    In particular they're looking for drivers for the Transport Regiment.

    Humberside Police are asking anyone who might have seen an assault in a Cleethorpes cemetery, external to come forward. 

    It happened at the Trinity Road Cemetery at around 15:15 on Monday 2 January following an argument between a man and a woman who are known to each other.

    Officers are appealing for two women who may have been in the area to come forward.

    Lincoln City manager Danny Cowley and his brother assistant manager Nicky Cowley say they want assurances the training facilities will improve at the club before they agree to extend their contracts.

    They have been in talks with club Chairman Bob Dorrian.

    Lincoln City are in the draw for the FA Cup fourth round tonight alongside some of the biggest names in football.

    Planners say new flood defences designed for North Lincolnshire will keep homes safe. 

    More than £13 million is due to be spent improving defences for the Trent villages, to stop a repeat of the flooding that happened in 2013

    It's thought a planning application will be submitted soon.

    A new MRI scanner's been delivered at Stamford Hospital which should benefit thousands of patients. 

    Once it's been installed it's expected to be operational by early February.

    Staff say it will speed up waiting times and lead to quicker diagnosis.
