    Police looking for a shoplifter who stole £400 worth of cosmetics from Boots in Caistor Market Place have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to talk to. 

    It happened on 9 January.

    For a long time the crew in the town have had to make do with very old equipment and crew member Adam Holmes says the team can't wait to get their hands on the new kit:

    A Sleaford girl whose osteoporosis meant she could no longer climb the stairs in her home has been given a special wheelchair which lets her get to top floor of her house.

    Alice Gresswell, 17, was confined to the ground floor and unable to sleep in her own bedroom for seven months because of her rare disorder.     

    The charity for disabled children, Newlife, donated the specialist chair and Alice says it's made a world of difference:

    TV presenter Carol Vorderman will be joining campaigners to get the last surviving British Dambuster a knighthood. 

    She's handing in a petition to Downing Street today calling for Lincolnshire-born George "Johnny" Johnson to be recognised.

    The 95-year-old was part of the Scampton-based 617 Squadron which carried out the Dambusters raids.

    Carol - who's an ambassador for the RAF cadets based in Lincoln - explains why she's determined to see it through:

    These are the hugely popular Lincoln Barons, displayed all over the city back in 2015 to celebrate 800 years of Magna Carta and then auctioned off for charity. 

    This year, it's 800 years since the Battle of Lincoln and the sealing of the Charter of the Forest - so move over Barons and hello Knights!

    A total of 35 of the fibreglass statues are planned, and artists have now started getting to work on painting them.

    There are a couple of issues on Lincolnshire's roads at the moment which you should be aware of if you're out and about:

    • Slow traffic's currently reported on the A15 Folkingham Road in Morton at the Hanthorpe Road junction in the roadworks area
    • And Ladysmith Road in Grimsby remains closed in both directions between the A46 Weelsby Road junction and the Whitby Drive junction,  due to a burst water main

    After being extensively tested on the south coast this week, a brand new lifeboat is heading to its new home in Skegness.

    The Shannon Class lifeboat is faster, more agile and can travel further to rescues than the 26-year-old vessel it's replacing. 

    Its been paid for thanks to a £1.5m donation by the Grunnill family, who have been associated with the lifeboat station for almost 200 years:

    You'll remember that a stretch of the A607 was closed for over four hours hours yesterday after a multi-vehicle crash near RAF Waddington.

    One of the vehicles involved was a ambulance, and five people had to be taken to hospital as a result, including both of the crew members.
