    Last week Hykeham Police spent hours trying to catch a Shetland Pony giving them the runaround in Carlton-le-Moorland.

    Veronica Biggs, as she became known, was eventually caught and found to be in a rather bad state.

    Riddled with lice and with a poor body condition, she was taken to the lovely folks at Bransby Horses , externalwho've given her a full clip and the treatment she needs. 

    I guess you could call it the Great Mane Robbery...

    This is Peter Crump - he's the man behind gold artworks hidden in Lincolnshire as part of a treasure hunt.

    Mr Crump made gold copies of the museum pieces in his workshop near Melton Mowbray.  

    The Tudor fisherwoman was the third piece of gold to be found in north Lincolnshire

    He told BBC Radio Leicester he 3D scanned the ancient artifacts first, then he printed them in wax and finally reproduced them in gold.

    Each is thought to be worth more than £1,000.

    Members of the Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) responsible for overseeing Westside Surgery in Boston say they're "disappointed" the practice has been put into special measures.

    A report by the health watchdog, external has found that the surgery was not safe, not well-led and not effective and was given an overall rating of "inadequate".

    In a statement, Lincolnshire East CCG says: "These areas have either been resolved or are being addressed by the practice with the full support of Lincolnshire East CCG."

  8. Pleasure Island site was considered for Grimsby Town stadiumpublished at 11:50

    Pleasure Island in Cleethorpes was considered as a site for a new community stadium for Grimsby Town, it's been revealed.

    The amusement park which closed in October was one of 17 sites looked at.

    But land off the Peaks Parkway was finally identified by North East Lincolnshire Council as the most suitable site for the planned stadium.

    Next week a special meeting of the cabinet will consider a report into plans for the stadium.

    A man has been attacked with a hammer and pushed through a window at Burger King in Skegness, police have said.

    The 34-year-old victim suffered cuts to his head and two men have been arrested in connection with the attack.

    Police want to speak to any witnesses to the attack which happened at about 19:20 at the Hildreds Shopping Centre.

    A Lincolnshire doctors' surgery with more than 10,000 patients has been placed in special measures after being rated "inadequate" following an inspection by the health watchdog the CQC. 

    The report says the Westside surgery in Boston, is not safe, not well led and not effective.

    YMCA Lincolnshire is looking for more people to sign up for their Sleep Easy event in Lincoln next month, where people sleep rough in the grounds of Lincoln Cathedral for one night.

    It's raise awareness and money for homelessness in the county.

    Last year they raised over £10,000.
