Adoption agencies say it's important that brothers and sisters remain together, but that's not always possible

Nationally, just under half of children up for adoption are part of sibling groups. In Lincolnshire it's slightly higher at 50%.

  8. What's the difference between a Cathedral and a Minster?published at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2017

    Alex Rhodes
    BBC Local Live, Lincolnshire

As we've told you, Lincoln Cathedral is currently locked in a battle with Durham Cathedral, Bristol Cathedral and York Minster.

At the time of writing Lincoln and York are neck and neck! , external

    Lincoln Cathedral

A lot of people are asking what the difference is between a Minster and a Cathedral so here it is...

Essentially a Minster is a church built in the Anglo-Saxon period as a missionary church whereas a Cathedral is the seat of a Bishop.

    So grounds for disqualification?

Alas not. York Minster is technically both a Minster and a Cathedral (much to the relief of the Archbishop of York no doubt).

Just greedy if you ask me...

The the mystery witness spotted the altercation and shouted at the would-be robber who then fled on a mountain bike.

I expect the German Shepherd had something to do with that!

  18. Grimsby and Humber seafood 'concerns' after Brexitpublished at 11:44 Greenwich Mean Time 10 November 2017

    David Burns
    BBC Radio Humberside

A representative of the seafood industry in North East Lincolnshire says he wants the government to look at giving them free trade status in the ports of Grimsby and Immingham.

It's ahead of the latest round of leave negotiations between the UK and EU which get under way today.

The government wants to put the day Britain leaves the European Union into law. It'll be 23:00 on the 29 March 2019.

Fish being processed in a factory.

Simon Dwyer from the cluster group Seafood Grimsby & Humber told the BBC he has many concerns about Brexit.

He says around 5,000 people work in the seafood processing industry across the region and most of that seafood is imported from places like Canada, Argentina, South Africa and China.

    A seafood market

Mr Dwyer says they are working closely with DEFRA and are asking for tax exemptions so they can take advantage of Brexit and make it work for the industry.

He adds, some areas of concern about how Brexit will work for the region's seafood industry are access to overseas labour, overseas exports and trade quotas.

He says they will have to work hard with government to keep the region's 5,000 seafood jobs.
