An 82-year-old woman in Grantham handed over £7,000 to scammers and a woman of the same age from Long Bennington gave fraudsters £4,000.

Criminals are cold calling victims pretending to be police investigating fraud.

It's urging riders to stick to designated paths.

The leader of the council's Countryside team Chris Miller says the issues are being caused by a few irresponsible riders:

    Quote Message

There are also a lot of responsible users... who help us out with some of our maintenance on some of the routes that they are allowed on. Certainly there are those that aren't that bothered and they just want to go where they want to go regardless of whether or not they have a right to do so

Tow people at the job center.

Andrea is 55 and has been looking for a job for six months. She says the advances in modern technology is leaving her generation behind.

    Quote Message

I find technology is a big hurdle for me... Even though I've done IT courses it's not second nature to me. My generation is never going to use technology in the same way young people do. I've tried to be self employed but you need to be good with social media."

Andrew from Leeds is 50 and is looking for a job:

    Quote Message

It's a lot harder because employers want to go for younger people even though they have less experience... but it may be because they don't have to pay them as much."

Martin retired at 50 and is a volunteer. He believes his generation has a lot to offer:

    Quote Message

It's extremely difficult to get a job but you are almost unemployable once you get to 50. There are a lot of people in their 50's and 60's who have a lot to offer an employer.

There's also concern amoungst some landlords that pubs and social clubs would suffer if e-cigarettes were banned inside.

If vaping was banned, I think what would happen is that who would lose a certain amount of customers. Customers that do enjoy having a pint and a vape would probably decide to stop at home.

    BBC Sport

Sports clubs in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire simply wouldn't exist without the hard work of hundreds of volunteers helping to run them.

These people give up not just a bit of free time, but hours of their week to ensure that people of all ages can stay active and have fun doing it.

Every year the BBC takes a moment to recognise these Unsung Heroes with a special award and this year's winner from our region is Stuart Usher from Scunthorpe.

    Stuart and pupil

Stuart has done taekwondo for more than 17 years. As a young boy, he first started training after he experienced bullying at school and learned to deal with aggressive behaviour.

Several years later, he set up the not-for-profit Messingham Martial Arts group, inspiring and teaching others.
