She says she's working on a sign to warn people about the unusually large number of birds near the main road.
Quote MessageI've never known as many as there are this year, there are hundreds... I had to slow down, there were very distressed looking couple of parents with all their goslings trying to cross the road. It just broke my heart because there are going to be more that are killed."

Four people have been arrested in connection with an incident on South Parade in Grimsby.
The force has urged the public to stay away during such incidents to avoid encouraging offenders.
Quote MessageIf they don’t have a crowd to play up to and people egging them on, they’re far more likely to come down sooner without hurting themselves or anyone else. This isn’t entertainment. And, if you think it’s funny to come along and egg them on or help them in anyway, you risk being arrested yourself."
Ch Supt Darren Downs, Humberside Police

Signs on one of the key routes into Lincoln are confusing, motorists are claiming.
Canwick Road in the city has two lanes which eventually merge into one, but drivers are merging onto one lane "too early", according to Lincolnshire's Road Safety Partnership.
District Councillor Steve Clegg thinks the signage is causing confusion, because it shows that one lane will close hundreds of yards before it actually does.
He says, "We've got these electronic display boards either side of Canwick Hill as you go into Lincoln and they indicate that the right hand lane is closed, but they don't tell you where that is."
The RAC say the system is a "merge in turn" system, which means drivers should use both those two lanes for as long as you can and then take it in turns to merge at the end.
Quote MessageIf there are two lanes of traffic it's right to use those two lanes, I think there's perhaps something peculiarly British about everybody wanting to seemingly do the right thing and queue in a single lane of traffic."
Rod Dennis, RAC
